The New Freedom Home Depot is my FAVORITE Home Depot. Employees are always helpful and approachable. They know their products as compared to other Home Depot stores I have shopped. I highly recommend the New Freedom Home Depot for all of your shopping needs.

This home depot is a little further from us than the York store however, the customer service we have received here has been wonderful.

This Home Depot is the best HD store! Everyone is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. If they don't have the answer, the employees are eager to find out. The store is super clean, and well lit. Thank you for all of your assistance everyone.

Arrived at the store two buy two toilets,sale associates near this area were both busy with customers ,but one sales associate found someone top assist me.Items(in stock) were located and placed on a cart. Self checkout was quick and staff member assisted me with military discount(thank you). Another associate help contact staff to assist me loading items into car.. Overall quick experience with all friendly staff.Price was better than another home discount store.

I normally love this store. Employees are helpful & friendly. When our dryer died, we decided to go to Home Depot for a new one since it was close to our house. I expected to be able to pick one up the same day. I was told they do not have any appliances to pick up in the store the same day, but they had free delivery. Ordered on Sunday, scheduled delivery the following Saturday because they could not guarantee a time during the week when we both work full time jobs. Was called on Saturday that the truck was having issues & needed to reschedule. Earliest day was Wednesday. We work & we're not taking off for a delivery. To me that wouldn't be free. I asked if I could then pick it up in store. Was told it wouldn't be there until Monday. I canceled the order. Ended up picking it up the SAME day somewhere else.

We used to avoid this store as the inventory was always low. Went today and they had the merchandise we needed with excellent service loading into the cart and then into the truck by Don. He was friendly and kind. Hire more like him!!!

Clean, friendly staff. Generally have what I'm looking for all the time.

It seems rare that in the large full-service stores that I visit, I would see many of the same employees the next time I go. The experienced employee can save a customer many hours by being able to schedule and route as well as recommend and assist in order placement. In the Shrewsbury (New Freedom), PA store, everything seems to work and today it really saved me time, and a few bucks too.

always have what I need

Brian in plumbing department is very helpful and professional. The only plus to this store that I have come in contact with. Why isn't the plumbing department organized by material used? Copper/PVC/CPVC/PEX/etc. Instead fittings are scattered here/there no real rhyme or reason. You have ball valves on one side, some fittings on another and others across the aisle. It isn't rocket science, but most of us know what material we are working with. We are looking for the parts! There isn't any way to carry around smaller items, like plumbing fittings, non-packaged bolts/nuts, etc. They fall through the shopping carts and there aren't any baskets that HD used to have. Even your competitor has baskets with wheels and extending handles if you want to roll with them. Smart thinking! Instead people like me, have to get a HD newspaper (if they have them), line the seat with it (so nothing falls through) and shop. Ridiculous and waste of paper because somebody in corporate can't connect the dots! Mentioned this to Jennifer (at check-out) and asked her to pass it on to management. Was told they (mgmt) won't listen. She said she would try. I informed her that it was also her job to TELL THEM and to do it! So assuming that Jennifer didn't tell management OR she did pass it forward and management DIDN'T listen. Here's my review and commentary. Have you ever bought small items that fall through the shopping cart or worse yet NUMEROUS small items that fall through the cart? Because the cart is 1 inch square holes throughout it. Obviously, the people calling the shots at corporate no longer do any shopping or do their own home repairs.

A+ Store and staff

This store use to have some helpful associates I see employees just standing around talking to each other while customers are roaming around the checkout line are very poor mostly self serve lanes are open long wait times checking out aisles are always crowded with excessive product I had to go to Home Depot in York pa to get help with some blinds cut they where so very helpful

There was someone that ACTUALLY helped me select a lawn mower. Then he helped me to the check out and out to my car. Jim was awesome!!

Easy and convenient for my husband and myself ship there all the time. It's our go to place.

This store seems to always have crowded aisles that can't be navigated by more than one person at a time. New low for this store at checkout. While checking out with screen door, realized bottom corner of door was badly damaged and not usable. The cashier's response? "You'll need to that to customer service.". Really? You want me to walk halfway across the store to bring damaged stock that shouldn't have been on the floor to customer service? No thanks, that's your job.

I just moved to Shrewsbury a little over a month ago and as anyone can imaging I have few projects I would like to do in my new home. I have been extremely impressed and touched how nice everyone at the store is and their willingness to go to the extra mile to assist me with many helpful information.

I am always pleased with customer service at this store. I frequent the garden center often. The staff is knowledgeable of their products and locations. Shirley is fantastic! She remembers me and is very cordial as well as helpful if I need service.

Best staff in any Home Depot! Always willing to go above and beyond to help out. Rose, Cashier today was fantastic!

THE BEST IN MY SHOPPING AREA

Employees are rude and talk back negatively to customers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The people in the Appliance Section were inept in ordering my dishwasher, the young guy (who was playing on his phone & I think I accidentally caught him hiding not in his section) even suggested I add the APP to my phone & order it from there!! :( The older guy didn't order the correct length connector hose, even though he knew there was a cabinet in between. The first delivery guy said they could install it when they came back, if I had the right length hose there waiting. The 2nd Delivery, this guy said they couldn't install it b/c it included PVC Pipe, that I'd need a plumber to install it. SO I cancelled the order!! When I went to HD to make sure I was re-imbursed, the 2 people @ CUSTOMER SERVICE, who were bombarded by more customers than they could handle, said that the ONE person that handles deliveries was gone for the day! So TIME WAS WASTED 5x & still NO Dishwasher!! :(

Home depot at Shrewsbury very nice to shop there,nice people

All the employees are very willing to help when needed. If one employee is not in their area of expertise, they will find someone that will be able to help you with your needs.

Your People are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about your products. They do an outstanding job!!

This is my favorite store to shop in. I like to do a lot of home projects at my home. This Home Depot always has the best customer service and great products. Which can get me in trouble. Because if I see it, I want to buy it and put it to use in my home.

The folks @ the Pro Desk are ALWAYS friendly & helpful. Cashiers get me out quick & if I need any help while shopping, I can just grab someone's attention & my needs are met. An overall great Depot location with AWSOME employees
