Large purchasers= thief (before you have the opportunity to check out)
The last for trips to this locatIon I know the employees at this store in Nile’s Ohio thought I was a thief. Not only did they make me feel like this they made it very apparent. From being discriminated using the self check out instead of waiting in a line to having my shopping cart taken more than once. The employees at this location need education on how to properly treat customers who they may think has high dollar items they are purchasing. Or post a sign non the door, “high dollar purchasers will be treated like a criminal”. I have a very big account with homedepot to say the least. Every trip we purchase hundreds of dollars in tools and materials. I got to Boardman, Austintown, and Nile’s… I have never been treated with the amount of disrespect as I have on numerous occasions at the Nile’s homedepot. This is not right, fix it. Here’s a picture of my cart and every item was purchased. Stop being so judgmental and get training on how to handle large purchasers. Someone is not a thief unless they walk out the door without paying. Any employee to make a judgement before a person gets to check out, is discriminatory and upsetting to say the least.

    The Niles store was great. Sales associated went above and to help me locate the item in Austintown. I pay for the item at Niles, drive to Austintown only for them to tell me we cant sell this item its a Black Friday deal.! Then why did tje sale go through? Perhaps block item from being purchased, cant be that hard.

      Very Thankful For Rich!
      I came to Home Depot to make my first big purchase for my home. I was nervous and had no idea what I was doing but I knew I needed a new stove. Rich was so kind and patient with me, went above and beyond and got me exactly what I needed! I couldn't stop talking about how wonderful he was and I can't wait to visit him again the next home upgrade I do!

        An employee named Tom at that Home Depot went WAY out of his way to help me find what I was looking for. He stuck with me until I found it and we had to search several aisles. That's a huge store and their employees are all very busy, but this employee was willing to drop what he was doing and help me.

          Knowledgeable staff
          I wasn't sure what I needed but after a quick conversation with the employee in the plumbing section I was on my way home to do my repair. There is NOTHING like knowing you have the right things to fix your problem and complete the repair correctly.

            Lack of service
            The employees that I encounter at the paint counter was rude and unfriendly and the women standing at the checkouts could have been doing something else rather than gossiping about other coworkers. There is no need for that many workers at self checkout

              Home Depot has a lot of options for doors and the store is very organized and clean. Deion greeted us and was so helpful from start to finish. Deion is very knowledgable with the product and answered all the questions we had. It truly was a breath of fresh air to go shopping and be met with someone that knows about the product that we are looking for. Home Depot is the home for all our home updating needs.

                        Horrible service in all aspects of store
                        I could not get anyone to help me lift one sheet of plywood into a pick up truck cashier would not even ask. No one in the store, even acknowledge me as I walked by them and asked for help.

                          The only issue I have is that I was told that my order will be delivered to the store between July 21-25th. When I received the tracking number for my order and t was for August 1st. I know the store provided me with the information they received when placing the order but I didn’t expect a week delay. Not a problem, just delayed my garage project.

                            Very few employees.
                            Couldn’t find an employee to ask for location of product I was needing. One employee at front register and would only offer self checkout feature. I prefer not to run a register for my sale, prices don’t necessarily reflect discount to self checkout. Get more help !

                                      Somewhat shocking
                                      Purchased a hot water tank and on the box it said if you called before noon, you can get it installed the same day. When I called the number the people were slightly confused and when I did get a call back from the install company the price was double from what the hot water tank cost.

                                          Terrible phone service, delivery products don't arrive since the blow off of the truck
                                          Bought a Cub Cadet zero turn mower, good experience at the store but, when the mower was delivered it did not have the operators manual. The delivery driver said it blew off during transit to our house.He said to call the store for help getting a new one, call 4 different times, put on hold each time and kept getting transferred to " someone that could help " then they would put me on hold to transfer me to someone that could help. I got frustrated and quit calling. I guess if you want to get what was supposed to arrive with your $3000.00 lawn mower you can't call them you must waste your gas and time to drive to the store.

                                              3 Hours of wasted time because no one knows what to do, employees with dunce caps on their heads. Hard to believe but true. 3 Hours of nothing but one Big Headache for me & I almost collapsed from being in there so long. I'm on Oxygen, it was so horrible what they put me through, almost had to go to the Hospital over these people.

                                                I just wanted to say thank you to Tracy D. appliance specialist at store #3808. Tracy was so kind, friendly & knowledgeable in helping me make a decision on which washer would be good for me. I definitely would recommend finding Tracy if you are confused about all the different types of washing machines you can choose from.

                                                  Very competent employee at service desk.
                                                  Had to order a snow blower instead the one in the store because it was $100 cheaper that way. In the process of doing so, my husband was so frustrated about the price difference, he wasn't paying attention to WHERE he was sending the blower... to Washington state and not Niles, Ohio!!! The Service desk worker was very quick and efficient to get the order canceled right away! That being said, he was still upset about the price difference. We needed it right away and just decided to buy it from the store.... for $100 more!!

                                                    Staff was very helpful. Several staff asked if we needed help even though we knew what we were looking for and where to find it. Store was organized and it was easy to find what we were looking for.

                                                        New stove and no way to use it.
                                                        We waited all morning for the delivery of our new stove. We disconnected our old stove to make things easier. 15 minutes before the delivery, the driver calls to inform me that he has NO WAY to hook up the stove. That kit hasn’t been available for over a week! He had no idea just when that hook up kit would be available. Did we still want the stove delivered? What on earth is that about? How do you sell a stove with no way to use it? How do you have customers waiting for a useless appliance and not inform them? I can’t believe that they stay in business!!!! They won’t get my business from today onward!!!!

                                                            Check out and short staffed appliance dept.
                                                            Your Appliance Department is shorthanded the only person I've seen work back there is the lady that gets off at 4:30 we got there early enough but she was busy with another customer and then when you tried to check out nobody could help us kept sending us to another person.
