Recycling at Home Depot

Did you know?

This store helps divert waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot sold to Trex last year. This is used to manufacture composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store helped save on energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours last year. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives like solar and wind.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities and the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn More.

Store Details

Welcome to the North Fontana Home Depot. We're excited to help you find the tools to start your next project.

No matter how complex your project may be, we're here to help you finish it. From custom kitchen cabinets to appliances our associates will get you in and out. You can also check out our Home Depot product locator app, which displays a store map, the aisle location and the current inventory available for the items you're looking for.

Community involvement is important to us at The Home Depot. In an effort to fill the trades gap, The Home Depot Foundation will invest $50 million dollars into non-profits to help replenish tradespeople in an industry that is not currently seeing growth. In-store, we offer hands-on learning that covers a variety of topics tailored to everyone in your family, including monthly kids workshops.

You can find us northeast of the intersection of Route 210 and I-15, down the street from Costco, near Falcon Ridge Town Center and Fontana Park Aquatic Center. Drop by today and see what's new.

Your North Fontana Home Depot Team

How can I attend a workshop?
We currently have online livestream workshops that are taught by knowledgeable associates. Visit homedepot.com/workshops to see what’s available. For Kids Workshops activities visit here.

What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

Is The Home Depot North Fontana hiring?
As an essential retailer, we're hiring seasonal associates in Customer Service/Sales, Store Support, Freight, and Merchandising. We’re taking measures to keep our associates and customers safe, including providing face coverings and gloves, limiting the number of customers in stores at one time, promoting social and physical distancing practices, and implementing additional cleaning measures to sanitize facilities. Apply now. The Home Depot® is an Equal Opportunity/M/F/Vet/Disabled Employer.

The store was clean and employees very helpful, however the selection of lamps and patio furniture isn’t the best. A very very small selection to shop from!

customer service was poor, the self checkout registers were not being clean and disinfected after each customer left. I did not have a safe shoping experience at this location. Registers must be clean and disinfected after each customer leaves the register. in addition i did not see any disinfecting or hand sanitizer through out the store. Come visit the Barstow location - you will be surprise.

Bad bad customer service. My home store in Rancho is neat, and they care about their customers. I had to come here for an order pick up and I will never return again! The paint dept has a guy named Austin that works there. He needs some refresher courses to remember how to talk to people. He is rude! Also they say they have something in stock but once you get there they tell you the “on hand” is messed up so the numbers are lying. Never again!

The specialty desks need improvement. At customer service, Janice was not trained well and didn't know what she was doing. I needed to find someone else on the floor. Yesterday, needed something from prodesk. Arrived at 2pm. Hours are until 2:30pm on Saturday. The person left early. Not cool. We are all busy. This is not a small shop where if it's slow people just close early! It's home depot, shouldn't another person somewhere be able to help?
