I bought a toilet that Home Depot app listed at $229 but at checkout rang up at $279. Unsatisfactory….screen shot of Home Depot app sales price not honored at checkout included.

Dwayne from plumbing went above and beyond when he helped us, even though we weren’t even in his department. First he helped us find the 6x6 beam we needed, and then hand sawed it for us as it was too big for the electric saw! Best customer service ever!

HD is trying hard to treat people right. The older employees are noticably more willing to offer assistance and also give the impression they are happy working there. Younger employees give me the impression they are stuck in a job and they really don't care about customers but do the minimum to keep working until they find another place to work.

I bought a dishwasher and paid for its delivery; only to get stiffed without a phone call and waiting all day. I had to call them to find out I needed to reschedule. Maybe I could get reimbursed for my personal day? Ha

Had a nice visit and found everything I needed.

Bad experience exchanging a dryer i purchased. I would never recommend shopping here.

This location has to be one of the best HD’s around, staff is always helpful, and if they don’t know something they’ll call an associate. The staff always greets you.

Customer service aren’t good

Went to get a few garden and yard supplies. Was greeted by very friendly staff in several areas. Store was well stocked and had everything I needed to organically fertilize my garden and to keep deer away from my flowers. My favorite local Home Depot!

We bought stuff for a landscaping project at our home. We got a lot of help at this store. Cindy in customer service was extremely helpful.

Didnt get my 5-year extended warranty that I paid for

Ordered over the stove microwave online, to be delivered. When guys came with the oven, they were not aware they were supposed to install it. They took out my old one and then told me the new one would not fit due to a tiled backsplash. Took the new one back to the store, but left black permanent marker on my grey tile, which I certainly hope is covered by the next new oven or you'll be hearing from me. I DID get the gift certificate back, which I had used, but my credit card does not have the remainder of my refund credited. Went into the store the next day, and had an employee help me. Talked me into no-name oven, but the stainless steel oven was not in stock there. He stated the Lapeer store had it in stock, if I wanted to drive there. I asked if I should purchase it at the store we were in and just pick it up at the Lapper rd store. Or just buy it there. I was told to buy it at the Lapeer store. Went to the Lapeer store, they did not have the same oven in stock and told me that wasn't a very good brand anyhow. Talked me into a GE which isn't going to be delivered until the 19th. I'm anxiously awaiting!

I am a frequent shopper at Home Depot and the Orion store is the closest to my home so I go there the most. I have been a customer here since they opened about 25 years ago. The staff is super helpful and friendly, which makes it a better experience than I have had at some other stores.

Old faucet leaking and had to replace it quickly

My cashier kim was a great help and a pleasant person to deal with.

It never fails that the employees leave equipment in front of shelves at this store. There should be designated areas to keep equipment such as the movable stairs, pre ordered items, and fork lifts so they are not always blocking the aisles. Also, if you're going to mark items down then clearly mark them. The cashier practically accused us of trying to steal wood that was supposed to be marked down 70% because the purple paint wasn't visible enough. This did not set well with us considering we go here a lot.

I have been here many times, everything is generally clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Purchasing any kind of installation services is a nightmare! First, it take forever for the store to do the paperwork. Then it take another eternity to hear from the installer. Then you wait and wait and wait for the installation to happen. If your lucky, the installation is completed on the first visit and done correctly. I purchased a toilet and only wish I could have installed it myself. I'm a 70 YO man and can't manage the weight of the toilet.

Store has friendly employees and seems well organized. Usually has what I’m looking for.

Great customer service. The woman in the garden section during the day would above and beyond. Asked me if I was a veteran for my extra discount. Very knowledgeable on what I was purchasing. And so friendly. Wish I had her name, but she’s Garden Center, Lake Orion during the day.

I attempted to purchase a freezer from the Lake Orion location and was told I had to special order it by the girl at the customer service desk named Cindy. Cindy was apparently too tired or lazy to verify that there were five already in stock at the store. She then proceeded to special order one for me that would not arrive for 22 days. I found this unacceptable. I returned to the store two days later after being told by another employee that there were five in stock and that I wanted to get one of those and just have the special order one go into the stores inventory. Cindy was unaware that I had prior approval from a store supervisor and it was annotated in my sales notes. Cindy then continued to tell me that I could not do what I wanted to do until I advised her to go through the notes and she would verify exactly what I had told her. Not to mention, Cindy was not even the cashier that was waiting on me but she took it upon herself to put in where she didn't belong and try to control the situation. Realizing she was extremely outmatched by someone who had taken proper notes and documented everything that needed to be documented Cindy then attempted to just outright lie about inventory, Appliance stock delivery and inventory. Cindy was not aware that I used to work at the Home Depot and handled Night freight. Again I was able to shut her down with every statement she made. Cindy then went back and coward in the corner and was not heard from again. These are the types of people that work harder at getting out of work then actually taking the time to do their job correctly. Everyone else at the store does an incredible job and I have never had a problem and have been a regular customer here. I will continue to go and not allow One Bad Apple to spoil the entire bushel

If you can find a living being, don’t excited because they won’t be able to help you anyway. Go to the place with the helpful hardware people if you want good advice.
