Great Store Experience
Everyone in the store was helpful and nice, especially Ocar,! He gave me a lesson in deck building!Was kind, patient and taught me about deck building....I couldn't have done it without him!

We love the "Charles Street" Home Depot! I take my granddaughters every Saturday to smell the flowers, buy dirt, bulbs and supplies for our home......
The store is well organized; bathrooms are always clean( I have two granddaughters-it's very important!) Help is always there.....& I like their selections of products.

    I only wish I had more money
    The Associate at the Courtesy Counter was very nice. She got me in and out very quickly. I just wish by now that you would have taken my advice from earlier surveys and put benches/chairs around the store so people with disabilities can rest...Concrete floor are rough on legs and backs.

    Just the same old.... Another example of déclassé (Mediocrity)
    As the owner of a real estate investment company Home Depot is a necessary evil in my life! I wish Lowes was closer to the East Side of Providence!!!!! There was 1 nice guy in inside garden who helped me during my visit on 5/21/15. There was NO 1 in plumbing and I needed FIVE hot water tanks...... Well... YOUR LOSS!!! I bought ONE and left because there is NO ONE to assist you #1 & #2 the lady at the pro desk ( I had to put my purchase under a will call). The lady at the "pro" desk was NO pro and certainly NO peach! She didn't smile , she was not polite, NO please or thank you. BAD BUSINESS!!!!!! As a business owner myself, this would never fly with ANY of my staff!!!!!! No way!!!!!!!!!!!! She even refused to give me my military discount!!!! Thankfully my uncle is a regional manager!!!! Laughs on you!!! I take your surveys to let you know about my experience be it good or bad. Unfortunately it's mostly bad so I call him after I do the survey on my receipt......... NO ONE WILL HELP YOU IF , AND I MEAN IF THERE ARE EVEN ENOUGH EMPLOYEES IN EACH DEPARTMENT AND IF AND ONLY IF YOU GET SOMEONE GOOD WHO WILL ACTUALLY HELP YOU AND NOT LOOK AT YOU AND TURN AROUND AND GO BACM TO TALKING TO THEIR FELLOW CO WORKERS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT WANT TO HELP YOU. THEY DO NOT WANT TO WORK. THEY WANT TO SOCIALIZE!!!!!!

      I've been coming to this store for 4 years after buying my house. This is "my store" I feel like I'm always welcomed by the friendly staff who are always knowledgeable and willing to help. I've recently purchased a refrigerator and the appliance department really went above and beyond in helping me make this major purchase.

      Your Customer Service People are so nice
      Unfortunately the wrong product was shipped to the store. Fortunately I suggested that we inspect what was in the seal box before I brought it home. I was suppose to get one piece of Picture Frame molding, and what was in the box was 2 different moldings, one painted, one not, taped to each other. I guess the person who picked my order couldn't find what I wanted, so he/she put in what they thought would work. Gina was so nice to get me a chair and Lori got me some cold water because it took about 1/2 hour to contact the shipping store, and do all the paper work to refund, and re-order. Thank you Gina and Lori. You made my day!

        Great Store Experience From Reuben in the Paint Department
        The Store Associate Reuben was an Excellent Paint Associate and extremely knowledgeable of the products I was looking for and shared some innovative ideas on products I was not familiar with. He is a great asset to the Paint Department and Home Depot.

          Easy to find what I was looking for.
          I went in looking for ring shank nails. Very easy to find in Hardware section. Everything clearly labeled with a sample of the nail available.

          Customer Service
          The customer service I received from Lori at the returns/customer center was outstanding. I could not find a patio umbrella that was on the Home Depot website. The website indicated it was at the Providence, RI store which is not the closest store to me. I was frustrated and walked over to the desk for assistance. She looked it up on the website and the walked me over to the umbrella. She took it out of the location it was in, oened the box to make sure I was satisfied with the color - and then walked me over to the umbrella display to show me the solar lighting that was included with the umbrella. The display was quite a distance from where the actual umbrellas resided. I don't think I have ever received as much personal attention by a store associate. It is obvious that Lori loves her job, Home Depot and her customers. Bravo!

          Wasted too much time here today.
          Needed help in appliances to purchase a gas range. No one around to help. Needed help with tread guards in flooring. Associate paged 3 times over 15 minutes and never came to help. I went in to spend $500 dollars. Left with nothing. Spent the $500 at Atomic Appliances.

          Long walk and sore feet and legs
          The outside entrance to the Garden Shop was closed, so we (74 yr. old neighbor, and I) had to walk all the way around to look for some flowers and seeds. I couldn't find the seeds I saw online, and the Miracle Grow Seed jug was dusty/dirty/old. My feet got sore from the concrete floors, and my neighbors leg was sore too, so we went to the courtesy counter associate who had to call the Garden associate. He brought up the seeds I was looking for. What happened to the Proven Winner plants you offered last year? My neighbor didn't buy anything because you only had $10 flats of marigolds.

          Your associates are so nice.
          I miss Lori at the Courtesy Counter. I brought my neighbor with me to show him your flowers. He wanted so yellow flowers that would last all summer to put in a raised bed around his driveway wall. I got him to purchase the top soil from you last week. He is 74 and has a bad leg, and I am a disabled veteran with sore feet and back. I can not tell you how much having benches/ chairs around for people to rest would really help us get around the store better and be we would be willing and able to purchase more things. We had to walk all the way around because the Garden Door was closed (I guess because of the weather) We looked at the "slim pickings" of marigold plants, and I wanted to pick up Hummingbird/butterfly seeds that I saw on line (Pennington) , but I only found the Miracle Grow jug (it looked old because it had a lot of dust on it). I had to pick up my online order and mentioned that I wanted the other seeds I saw online. After waiting about 5 minutes the gentleman brought two different bags of seeds. The one I got was much cheaper than the other Miracle Grow seeds. I only wish you had a better selection of marigold plants (we only saw flats that cost $10. My neighbor didn't want to pay that much. We are going to share the seeds that I bought today.

          Providence Home Depot - Much Needed
          The Providence Home Depot #4285 is much needed in the Providence area. The store is pretty well stocked and the associates are very helpful. This store has saved me time and money in that I no longer have to go to Seekonk or Attleboro, MA for general supplies.

          I love Home Depot, but could use some help
          I am a disabled Veteran with breathing and back problems. I would really like to be able to walk around your store if you would provide benches or chairs around the store so I could rest for a few minutes. Walking on concrete hurts my feet, legs, and back. I find that if I have to even wait 15 minutes to checkout that my back hurts so bad that I can hardly walk. Just a suggestion.

          Slow checkout in gardening.
          I love Home Depot. I was very disappointed that you didn't have Asparagus Seed, and the few Petunia's have root growing out the bottom of the containers. I had to wait over 20 minutes to checkout because the person in front of me was worried about the total, and the scanner didn't work right the first time her top soil was scanned. I am a disabled veteran, and I have a bad back. I was in so much pain having to stand and wait. I wish there was a way to order flowers online to be picked up at the store.
