What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. Great experience in the paint department!
The paint associate was extremely helpful, even taking the time to mix a sample of the paint before mixing the entire gallon just to make sure the paint color was a match. Very thoughtful and considerate. I have found associates at the Pulaski store to be the most helpful and friendly of any Home Depot stores in Middle Tennessee. I've had experience with the Nashville, Brentwood, Smyrna, Franklin and Pulaski stores. Great people that make it a great place to shop for your home improvement needs.

They don't care about customer service like they used to. Back in 2014, you couldn't look in any direction without seeing a smile. Now cashiers stand around talking and no one asks if they can assist you.
On the positive side, shelves are well stocked and it's nice to look up online where something is before going into the store.
