Tame the Greenery and Lawn
Lighten the load with outdoor power equipment rentals. Neaten around the garden with a rental lawn mower and get that sidewalk and driveway clean again with a pressure washer rental. Your outdoor oasis will be refreshed before you know it.

Rent Concrete Mixers to Finish That Project
Cross those outdoor jobs off the list by renting a concrete mixer. Larger projects need bigger concrete mixers. We offer towable concrete mixers as well, so bring a truck or rent one of ours for easy transport. We've also got concrete saw rentals and concrete grinders in several sizes.

Load 'N Go Trucks
If you're looking to rent a large tool but don't have a way to get it home, we can help with that, too. Check out our Load 'N Go rental vehicles and rent a truck. Stop taking up driveway space with an old pickup for the rare occasion of hauling items. Just rent a moving truck and keep your driveway open for grilling, hopscotch, or a round of hoops.

To get transportation and tools for your moving or DIY project, check out The Home Depot Tool and Truck Rental Center in Ross Township. Having the right tools for the job makes a difference. We're here to help you get that project finished.

Frequently Asked Questions about Rentals

How do I rent trucks or tools?

Stop by your local Rental Center to see what trucks and tools are up for rent. If you'd like to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a truck or tool. You can also check out our tool rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is offered at your local store. For more info on renting tools, read these Tool Rental FAQs, which includes terms and conditions for the equipment.

Can I rent a tool by the hour?

Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small DIY projects may only require a rental for a few hours, and long-term projects are no problem. You've got options to rent tools by the week, day, or month, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call the Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.

When do I return the tools?

It's fine to return the tools early if you finish your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off any built-up dirt from the tool as well. If you need it longer, call your rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.

Can I rent a truck for a few hours?

Rent a truck or moving van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes may be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on how long your project is. Don't forget to factor in the drive between the job site and the store, as you'll need to return it to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Be sure to read the contract before selecting a vehicle.

Do I need to refill the rental truck with gas?

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Make a note of the amount of gas in the tank when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that level. If you don't, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Can I rent a truck with only a driver's license?

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be over the age of 21. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
