I normally love coming to this store to shop the employees are normally very friendly and very interested in the projects being done. Today even though they had everything I was looking for they left a very bad taste in my mouth. No one was friendly very just into talking and gossiping with other store employees and when you asked a question they where very irritated you asked them a question. Also the fact that even though in very big letters outside telling everyone to wear a mask they where letting tons of people walk in without one on making it feel very unsafe to be in the store. It was very upsetting to see how much the employees where more into talking to each other than following the rules there store has set and just how rude they where. Not really sure I’ll come back to this store.p

Short story. Five employees with no interest in customer service on one trip sealed the deal on not returning to this location. Super parting gift for me was they did not load all items purchased as well. Yippee.

Very excellent location with friendly and helpful staff!!!

Lots of associates to help, but don't go in on a rainy day. Aisles were blocked with inventory, and yuppies trying to get contractors to teach them how to install product. But, there were a lot of contractors that seemed to be stalling to stay out of the rain, making navigating the exit difficult and dangerous.

If you need any help find David Hyman. He can help you with anything. He wasn't even in the department I was looking in, but he took the time to help me find a solution to my plumbing problems. Can't recommend him enough.

I shop this store because its close. I use to know almost 75% of the employees. There has been so much turnover I only know a few now. I sometimes just go in and look around to see where everything is and if there is anything new that I would like to purchase or put on a wish list. It bothers me that non-veterans take advantage of the 10% off program. I would think that you could institute a new veteran's program and verify the veteran's status with a new issued Red White and Blue for you card. It would require the veteran to provide a copy of the DD-214 or the issued ID card. In my mind this would stop a lot of the untruthful purchases that are happening. As a bonus for those that are Card Carrying Retirees let them have a certain amount of lumber under the 10% off. Set a Cap that if they go over then they loose the 10% exemption. Something like $500.00 a year. I live on a fixed income and when I have to build something for the house, It takes away from something else when I buy lumber. I am sure that there is a talented individual that could add something to the many programs that are computer tracked in the HD Master computer. Just my 2 cents. I am loyal to HD and I will not buy something at any other store because I know that I can get it at HD, especially #2218. Thanks for readin.

I had a great experience at this store. One of the employees, David Hyman, went above and beyond my expectations. He came over to me to see if I needed help with a product and helped me select the best product that I was looking for. He then took me to two other aisles to be sure that I got the products there that I was looking for. He was extremely helpful and professional. Also, the girl at the checkout center was very friendly and helpful as well. I feel that this store goes above and beyond when helping their customers!

The store is clean and products were easy to find. The employees are always nice and helpful.

Had a few items we needed for home, went in and got them quickly and got out quickly. Plenty of options for the light bulbs we needed. The unique light bulbs were in stocks and they actually had some options to choose from. Thanks!

I have always had a positive experience when I shopped at the Olathe Home Depot. The employees are always so helpful, friendly and kind. My first choice is always Home Depot when I need home improvement items. They are the best!!

I am new to scroll saw projects and needed help getting equipment for my whirlygigs. Every employee in each department was so patient helping me solve all that I needed to get the project done as all I had was a Pinterest picture, no list of items. Such friendly and helpful service! I was truly impressed with the service I got especially from Scott G who spent a large amount of time problem solving all the nuts, bolts, rods, etc that I would need. What seemed overwhelming when I started shopping ended up actually being fun thanks to all the help I received from your employees. Thank you everyone!

David H in lighting and fans saved the day.. We were under the gun to get things for our electrician coming the next day.. David went above and beyond to make sure we had the right stuff the first time.. Thank you David. We cannot say thank you enough for all your assistance.

The good: Employees are nearly always friendly and willing to help. The not-so-good: Sometimes they lack stock on certain items.

Good luck getting anything that looks like customer service

Recently had an issue with a product that was still covered under manufacturer's warranty, however after multiple failed attempts to contact the manufacturer to file a warranty, the home depot team (Bailey?) and manager (Mark) took the time to hear me out and offered me some suggestions. It wasn't because my issue was resolved that I gave this location a good rating (I stated to the team I didn't expect them to resolve my issue, only wanted their help in reaching the manufacturer), but it was because they took the time to listen, tried to find a different contact for the manufacturer (which they were unable), and finally stated that since they sold they product, which was still on their shelves, they would step up in place of the manufacturer since we weren't able to get a old of them. Once again, not what I asked or expected since it was a manufacturer issue, but nevertheless it goes to show they value customer satisfaction. I make many trips to this location (maybe weekly), and all staff including the rental associates are always friendly and helpful. Checkout and returns/exchanges are quick and easy, and products are mostly always available. Kudos to the management and staff at this location!

Seems to be well managed. You never have to hunt for an employee if you need something. All the employees seem very helpful and friendly

Customer service rep Brittaney was pretty awful. Screaming at an elderly gentlemen who couldn’t understand her through her mask.

We shop this store all the time to get our hobby items and our remodeling needs. We have had good service almost every time that we have been there. There is not much that we haven't been able to find there.

This store is always clean and employees are always helpful. This is a busy store and I feel comfortable visiting even with the pandemic issues. I like the self-chechout and there are always employees to assist if needed.

Very rude and can not get help at this store it is always the pass off game with this store they will not even take or deliver lumber on a 4,000 order they do not care about there customers

LET your associates make their own minds and NOT wear face masks. As a customer I can not hear them talk ,I can not see their face expressions and you are stomping on their personal rights by forcing them to do something they do NOT want to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

besides being the closest, this HD has very friendly and helpful staff. I must say last fall it had a dirty, drab appearance and the employees did not seem the same. But for some reason in the last couple of months there just seems to be a difference. Which is strange because of the stressful times.

Staff was helpful and available when compared to other stores.. They had several products that I could not find elsewhere.

Management goes above and beyond at this location to ensure the customer has a positive buying experience, both in purchase and in service after the sale. I am also a veteran and really appreciate the extra effort Home Depot always seems to put forth to those who have served. Tiffany is a model for what great management should be.
