I bought light switches and LED bulbs in the San Ramon store yesterday. The advice given by Gregg was invaluable. I had no idea so many options were available. Gregg's advice resulted in a purchasing experience filled with confidence. He provided different solutions and choices than I would normally not have chosen, and he was right! Everything is installed and working perfectly, ready for years of service ahead. Thank you Gregg!

Best HD in the area. Friendly staff, kind, knowledgeable, easy to communicate with. This store is by far the least congested HD in the Bay Area.

We visit all Home Depots around our area to shop for some of our jobs; the worst customer service we have received is from the San Ramon location. Ladies working at the pro desk always give an attitude and do not know how to treat their customers. They seem frustrated and annoyed once they can't locate an account and usually seem undertrained since they do not know how to find accounts and follow directions.

Staff was very accommodating esp our Appliance Specialist Cynthia V. ;) very sweet and knowledgeable. Truly exceptional customer service. 5 stars!!!!!

You can't beat Home Depot when it comes to product selection and price.

I am always floored with the level of customer service given at this location, the whole staff is extremely knowledgable and helpful. I prefer shopping at this location, it is clean, the parking lot is convenient and items are usually always in stock! I especially appreciated help from the assistant manager Will, and the store associate Irjan today.

I visit home depot about 1-2 times per day on average. Often times the fork lift drivers are seniors (with attitude) and often not the most motived. It was refreshing to see a young kid Dylan who not only operated the material handling like a pro with precision, but also went out of the way to make sure the customer was happy. He helped load a stack of siding above my rack.

I had an incredible customer service experience working with Peter on my backyard project. He took care of my order even while the Pro department was closed late Sunday. He even made sure I got the best possible pricing. Thanks again for your help Peter!

An associate approached my dog. When I told her not to she said, "then why did you bring your dog into the store." Frankly NONE OF HER BUSINESS. My dog is a service dog and by law I can bring him into any store anytime. Your associates should not approach any dog without asking permission first. To not do so then get an attitude with a customer -- totally unacceptable. Then the cashier said absolutely nothing to us -- no hi, no thank you, thanks for shopping with us, nothing. She was too busy dancing to the music -- just rude and not customer service.

Wrong material was delivered to the job site. After many calls we had to solve the problem ourselves.

your store as well as Napa store really suffering from the total lack of service?

I was shopping at this Home Depot and was harassed by the loss and prevention man for a simple misunderstanding and was thoroughly embarrassed by having the police show up all while shopping with my infant daughter!

I felt compelled to write a 5 star review for the San Ramon Home Depot tonight. I went in today for a drill bit and I quickly met Will upon entering in the patio furniture area. The sale prices caught my attention and Will was so friendly and knowledgable that I ended up purchasing a 4 piece set while I was there. When I told Will that I would need to go swap vehicles with my wife to bring the set home, he quickly asked if I would like to borrow one of their trucks instead. I accepted and was on my way to drop off my new patio furniture shortly there after. When returning the truck, Will comped the entire charge for me and thanked me for my purchase and told me that he hopes to see me around.

This particular location has the worst associates and managers when it comes to customer service. The store has a miserable vibe that feeds into the associates. The moral must be low from management down because it reflects in the rudeness of the employees!

Only self checkout open. Lines backed up to middle of store. No help.

I'm not sure why I bother with this store. They rarely have what I need. By the time I go there, then run over to ACE to find it it takes twice as long. Add to that the fact the parking lot is a death trap, it's just not worth it.

I know Home Depot's return policy has changed. However, the managers should be given the leeway for certain exceptions. I've spent $30,000 in 2021 (pro member / credit card holder) and they would not give me a store credit for $70 worth of return items that were not on my card (I did not keep the receipt)....I understand that due to theft and other things it changed, however, there should always be an exception to the rule!...I have to eat these items that I do not need or want. One of the higher up store managers did offer me $40 off my next purchase, which was very nice. Regardless, you need to give the managers some flexibility in cases like mine. I will continue to shop here and spend money for many years to come. I simple store credit should have been issued in my situation.
