I think the associate just signed me up for a credit card, even though I said im not interested...
Clean store, typically great service, and I frequent the store often. However this last time was the most bizzare experience I have ever had at a Home Depot...ever.
The associate came out of no where and was overly "helpful" and kept saying he was going to take care of me, and not to worry...he was so eager to tell me that he left his customers in appliances to help me...and was going on and on....about not to worry, and that he would take good care of me, and how he noticed no one was helping me after my request for help...
However, In the end, he did nothing out of the ordinary to help, and even kept going through the CC sign up process; even after I said I didnt want one.. asking questions...what is your income, what is your DL#, and then answering the online questions on the form...it was very bizzare.
I left the store, and I even asked my adult son, "did he just sign me up for a CC?" neither of us were for sure.
I called back and spoke to a head cashier, and the OPs Manager, and they are going to look into the scenario further.
As we speak, I still have not been able to confirm if he signed me up or not. I will have to call back in the morning and see....or worse, wait 2 weeks and see if a HomeDepot Credit card shows up at my house.
I could really do without this kind of "helpful" customer service. Really dissappointed, and concerned.

Older man more professional
Older man gave more professional suggestion for doors and windows, just like Pete and David. They cannot be replaced by young people.

Aged associates help me making correct choice
Experienced people(often aged men) give me a great help in choosing the correct items. They perhaps experienced remodeling of their house. Young people clearly don't know how to help customer to make a choice.

First time going to Homedepot
It is my first time going to homedepot and purchase something that is acquire by the company. I'm not familiar with anything in the stores or even the product itself but the floor manager who was standing by the electrical section comes up and ask me if i needed an assistance and i was surprised by that. He then patiently explain everything on my mark list and tell me the difference in them. It is very helpful and ill definitely recommend people to come to this store.

Thank You Michael from Building Materials
I would like to thank Michael from Building Materials for cutting the materials to make a podium for preschool graduates. My son's teacher asked if I'd help make a podium and Michael was a key player!
Thanks Michael!

Much better than the Milpitas store
In the Milpitas store, we practically had to accost associates and they were more unhelpful than I could ever have imagined (we were hoping something could be done about a defective product - the customer service desk summoned a guy from hardware, and all he said was that after 60 days they won't do anything. He didn't mention the product's own 3 year warranty, which apparently can be invoked by bringing the product in to the store for them to turn over to Ryobi. Their guy in the tool repair section was better, and referred us to the Ryobi rep (who wasn't there that day), but even as the most helpful guy there he still could have saved us a fruitless trip back to the store if he'd known that the Ryobi rep would just say we have to bring the whole set back to invoke the warranty. It seems like *someone* in the store should know the warranty procedures for products they sell.
Now to be fair, in this Santa Clara branch we weren't trying to do the same kind of difficult customer service inquiry, but the difference in service quality was still night and day. Michael in lumber was especially helpful and friendly, he helped us get the right amount and kind of materials for our needs as inexpensively as possible. The store felt less cluttered. Even the parking lot is better! (I think the Milpitas one catches a lot of parking overflow from the adjacent mall.)

Excellent source for moving supplies!
The store had everything I needed to pack for my move, including things I hadn't thought of yet. It really saved time to get everything here. And the prices for moving box s, etc, were much cheaper than U-Haul or other sources.

MERCHANDISE SERVICE ASSISTANCE
I paid a visit to Home Depot in Santa Clara seeking assistance with a merchandise service support. The store associate at the AC/Cooling section was helpful and prompt, and she even involved her supervisor to answer my questions. Next, I was directed to the Customer Service desk where I received a complete set of instructions on how to and when to contact the HD tech service. The approach and the willingness to satisfy all aspects of service accessibility was super. It really pays to shop at Home Depot.
My good friend just started working at one of Tampa stores and she has that same kind of winning attitude so she will perfectly fit in the HD Family. Thanks HD.

Good store but too few checkouts
Its a typical Home Depot store but generally the only available checkout lanes are the Pro checkout and the self checkout. There are usually a long line for the Pro checkout lane so if you are buying a lot of items or stuff that does not easily go through the self-checkout plan on waiting awhile.

Shopping for garden items
My shopping experience is usually great at HomeDepot but this time it was exceptional. I got excellent help from three different associates, Michael in the wood section and in the garden section and cashier was very courteous. The only issue that I had that items has not price tags in the garden section, e.g for tomatoes steel cage and also for steel fence.

Satisfying shopping experience as usual
After checking on the internet for the best deal on a storage cabinet, it was no surprise that Home Depot came through again. The only problem after locating the cabinet box in the store was trying to find an associate to help me load the heavy box from the display shelf onto my cart. Fortunately, I was able to do it by myself. The cashier did offer if I needed assistance loading the box from my cart into my truck, but I didn't need it at that point.

Easy to shop with the app in hand
Being not too familiar with home improvement, having the app open and ready to go makes shopping a ton easier. If you type in what you're looking for, it tells you the aisle, bin and number of product available. It was a big help.

Good visit.
John in plumbing was very helpful as I looked for a solution to my leaky kitchen faucet. I did not purchase my items then but came back later to. Store looked clean and workers looked busy. I purchased a small snack at Self Check-Out and a young lady Puka was very nice. Made sure to acknowledge and greet all those around her. Would definitely recommend this store to others.

Super help at a super store!
I received some help at my local Home Depot for Lincoln High School's STEPS concert. The management was nice enough to give me a discount and help the dance program succeed at Lincoln. Thank you guys so much for being there for your community.
