Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals event?

Another huge spring sale is here, so prepare to save. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you want. Don't forget to check out our mulch, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products all year long.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Make certain your home is set for spring temperature swings by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water gets inside the cracks, you might be looking at trouble. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the exterior of your home, examine metal roofs or roof shingles for rust or damage that may let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent water overflow from going beneath your shingles. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What will the next free Kids Workshop be?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a sliding lid is a great way to hone listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This cute kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
