Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Spring Deals event?

Enjoy some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that DIY list as the weather brings cheerful sunshine. It's also a great time for setting up appliances indoors, doing lawn and garden work outdoors, and organizing your home with new storage. Remember to upgrade your patio furniture and outdoor power equipment as well. Get it all done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, running only from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26. Don't miss out on these bargains.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for spring temperature shifts by repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to winter weather. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture freezes in the cracks, you might be looking at trouble.

What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Do I need a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the May Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on May 2nd. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this sweet keepsake box that fits all kinds of treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!
