I bought 60 pc impact kit for my dad, I didn’t really know exactly what I was looking for until I asked one of your employees for help finding the perfect set. His name is Kyle and he was so helpful and kind, he explained everything I needed to know. Truly such a great individual to have working at your store, I wouldn’t have been able to find anything without his help.

I judge a store by the way they handle issues. Had one the other day, three employees were working to resolve the issue, the store manager Howard approached me to offer his apologies, the issue was eventually resolved and I left the store calm and cool. That’s stellar for customer experience. I highly recommend this store.

I had a problem with an Appliance delivery so I had to go into the store. Nikole Said she could help me right away. It’s easy to give great customer service when everything goes well, but when a customer has a problem, that’s when good customer service really really makes a difference, and that’s what happened this time.Nikole Took my issue very seriously and understood that it was frustrating to not get my appliance when I wanted it. She took the time to understand what happened, and then knew exactly how to resolve it. While I was waiting for her to Resolve my issue, she offered me a cold bottle of water, which I was very appreciative of. Later on, she saw me carrying an arm load of items and asked me if I wanted a cart. Separately, next to us there was another customer service representative, helping a lady and her elderly mother. Clearly the mother had cognitive issues and mistakenly took a pair of gloves with her which her daughter asked her to leave behind. This customer service rep quickly and handed the mother the receipt, saying, can I give this to you and you give me those? Worked like a charm. So kind. I was very impressed with both of these young women. Home Depot is lucky to have them.

Had water damage went to get a long list of supplies for my contractor. I met Drew and he assisted me get everything on my list. He was wonderful! Thank you Drew!

Employees have mastered the art of avoiding eye contact & ignoring the loud speaker when paged. If you know what you’re looking for; you’ll be ok. If not; Good Luck.

Rasy, in the appliance department, was very kind and helpful. She's new and was nervous but went out of her way to help me.

If you are in need of flooring, sales rep Mr. Andrew Gesuele of the Stony brook store is the one to go to. He is very knowledgeable and can answer all of your construction questions efficiently and quickly.

While South Setauket is the store I choose to go to and seems to have more products/options on the shelves. Overall I feel as though the employees know less and less. They seem to not enjoy working at Home Depot as they once did. There also seems to be this common answer to my questions. “It’s probably only available on line” It seems once common items are no longer carried in store. It also seems every store is understaffed and employees are asked to work in departments they are not familiar in.

I shop here often and love Home Depot and staff. If I had one complaint it would be more than often stock is low on popular items. I feel the Home Depot could do a better job stocking higher quantities of popular items as to not run out.

Most of the people that work there are great, the young lady that helped me in customer service was awesome, wish I got her name.

I often purchase hardware, lumber, and finishing supplies at this location. Generally, the prices are competitive and the products are onhand. The staff are quite helpful.
