Store has consistently blocked and locked fire doors thus removing the breakout safety in these doors. That creates a real safety hazard. When questioned, a guy who claimed to be the store manager told me to mind my own business and that I’m an idiot. Will never go back there

My husband and I found fabulous Christmas decorations for a Homeless Shelter in Newark, NJ that we support. We had so much fun! Grateful to Chris who helped us. He was amazing and is an outstanding ambassador for Home Depot.

My experience at the Stamford Home Depot is consistently exceptional. From the moment I walk through the doors, I’m approached by multiple employees asking if I need assistance. What stands out the most is that they don’t just point you in the right direction … they personally take you directly to whatever you need. This isn’t my first visit, and it certainly won’t be my last. I’ve been shopping at the Stamford location for a couple of years now, and I would gladly drive past other Home Depot stores just to have the level of service I receive here. Not once have I walked into this store without being met by an employee who goes above and beyond to help. The customer service is truly unmatched, and my experience is always outstanding. Highly recommend this location to anyone who appreciates genuine, attentive, and knowledgeable service!

I ordered a front door from Home Depot over three months ago the manager and Denise has been unable to resolve the failed delivery of the product. I asked the store manager to have the door delivered directly to to the store if they could not arrange delivery He told me that they could not giants the door could be unloaded at his store without damage I spoke to Denise who handles delivery and she has failed to even call me back The only one who has attempted to help me with this issue is the salesman I would never recommend this store or the manager I have had better service with the Norwalk Store AS I HAVE STATED THE Manager is unresponsive to the problem

So many people working but most on cell phones are talking in little groups. Unless you know what you’re looking for and know where it’s located in the store don’t waste your time. You will stand there for 45 minutes waiting. Remember, the employees are getting paid while you stand and waste your time. Step up management have some accountability for what you’re paying your employees to do.

I was in to order two replacement sashes for my old Anderson casement windows. Sheba and Walter were very caring and knowledgeable about Anderson. They even caught my mistake and corrected it! Home Depot bested Anderson direct’s prices by 45%! I’m impressed! Thanks a bunch!

Dirty old store. Poorly stocked. Portchester and Norwalk are much better stores.

I was excited for my new LG refrigerator, but the delivery experience was very disappointing. The crew took one quick measurement of the doorway and immediately said they couldn’t get the fridge inside, even though the space wasn’t enclosed and there was clearly room to maneuver it at an angle. The discrepancy was less than an inch, and they didn’t even attempt basic solutions like removing the fridge doors/handles, common steps in situations like this. Instead, I was just told “nothing we can do.” For such a big purchase, I expected professionalism and problem-solving, not a refusal to even try. If you order from here, be aware that the delivery service may not go the extra step to actually place your appliance where it needs to go. With this being said, staff in the location itself are quite capable and friendly. In their words, they are “more than happy to take your money.”

There is always someone to help and the staff is very knowledgeable.

Please provide available assistance to help shoppers find what they’re looking for. An attitude change at customer service would be welcomed, rather than an annoyed, entitled and lazy lack of curtesy. It’s a great store. Make it better!!!!

Store product lines seem to be somewhat limited. It frequently takes a "herculean effort" to get assistance in finding products.

I do like the Stamford Home Depot, my reason for four stars is they often don’t have the items I am looking for, or if they show up in their inventory, they can’t find them. Otherwise, the staff is usually helpful and friendly. Mr Greg helped me out with stuff I needed for a project and spent time helping me figure out how to do it. The gentleman in the paint section also helped me figure out what I needed as well. Store was neat, I had an easy time making a small return and everyone was pleasant.

One of the worst retail experiences I’ve had. Home Depot is one big warehouse with inexperienced people trying to figure out what’s going on. Never again.

I went to buy sheet rock at Home Depot and got the wrong thickness never even thinking that they were a bunch of thickness is available. If they had been labeled and priced I would've figured it out on my own.

Unfortunately, customer service is sub-par whereby the computer makes decisions that cannot be reasoned with. Be careful about who advises you regarding purchases.

Lumber is not available at my local hardware and extremely expensive at Ring's End. Customer service -- on the rare occasion you can even find someone -- is, more often than not, confused or simply uninformed.

Stamford store may be smaller than other Homedepot s but the customer service people and floor associates are the most helpful by far.

This is a marvelous floor staff -- helpful, knowledgeable, supportive. I walked out feeling like I had made the right selection for my needs. Turns out I did.

We were happy when Home Depot finally started accepting ApplePay. However, we recently attempted to return an item at a Home Depot store and left the paper receipt at home. All we ever needed to do was to present the credit card used and Home Depot would find purchase and process the refund back to the credit card. The cashier recently said "We can't find that you purchased that item at Home Depot." We wondered if we had used ApplyPay. The casher said it would bring up all purchases whether with credit card or ApplePay. She offered to refund us with a store credit which we accepted. BUT she didn't refund the sales tax!! So I didn't get all my money back because Home Depot couldn't find my purchase. A friend suggested maybe we have to give the cashier the iPhone/ApplyPay ... will have to check that next. But now I am too afraid to use ApplyPay at Home Depot stores if it screws up my ability to make returns. Having to forfeit refund of the sales tax SUCKS.

I’ve always had great experiences at this location, and I’m really glad they opened in Stamford, CT. The staff is consistently helpful and friendly. I also appreciate how the Home Depot app shows the exact aisle and bay for items—it makes shopping so much easier!

The Stanford Home Depot location is very clean and the people there have always been helpful

Bought a stove and a refrigerator. Stove didn’t work after installing it and the second Stove didn’t have the cables attached. Currently, the refrigerator doesn’t work. HD, they can’t help me and the manufacturer can’t find a technician to come to our house. HD doesn’t care about the customer 48 hours after the appliance is delivered to your home!

I went to stamford as I always do.I needed an elbow pipe for under my sink although the gentleman was busy he directed us as to which isle the plumbing product was and said he will be there in a moment ,in the isle was a younger employee so he got the pipe for us and the older gentleman came to us as he said he would and made sure we bought the right piece.

10 minutes before closing, staff cheerfully went for a forklift, to get the dehumidifier I needed, from a 1000-pound bundle of them, stacked 25 feet in the air! Much appreciated!!
