Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Black Friday deals at The Home Depot?

The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is back and better than ever. Save big on outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden, including lawn mowers, mulch, and soil, then update your patio furniture or grill so you're ready to enjoy the season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning with storage and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so don't miss it.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be certain your home is set for spring temperature shifts by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture freezes in the cracks, you could be looking at trouble. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Do I need a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
