I had help from an employee on something so simple. Most other Home Improvement stores doesn't help.

The only reason I go to this store it's so close to my home otherwise I'd go somewhere else.

Helpful and friendly staff. Received excellent customer service in trying to purchase storm door and appreciated the employee's knowledge and helpfulness. Feeling very confident in my decision.

This store is one of the most helpful & friendly stores I have shopped at. They are always going far & above to help customers. When I need something for my home repairs or home needs, I always know I can find it at Home Depot..

This is more of a review of Home Depot as a whole, and this store just happened to be the one I shopped at most recently. I was in need of a new ridding mower to replace my 10 yr. old Husqvarna that died unexpectedly. I did a quick look online at homedepot.com to see what was available at my local store. I found two options that seemed to fit my needs, and decided to go to the store to gather some more information from the store "expert" before purchasing one. The store overall was extremely clean, and well organized. I quickly found the products I was looking for. When I went to find someone to help me, that's where the fun begins. after 15 mins I was in contact with the ONLY person working in outside lawn and garden. He seemed willing to help as much as he could, but the feeling that he had somewhere else to be was extremely irritating. I know he had to have had several things going at once, but I needed a quick expert overview of the two options I was debating between. For me to spend more than 1k (unexpectedly) is nerve racking enough. And when you add in the fact that the associate knew NOTHING other than to read the signage off of the product , I was real disappointed. Disappointed with Home Depot, not the associate. They knew as much as they were trained, and they had as much time to spend with me as coverage allowed. The end result was a feeling of rolling the dice on a large purchase, and a feeling of sorrow for the employees that are clearly over worked, and stressed. What to expect from shopping at Home Depot: 1. Do your own research. Do not expect to find an "expert" to help you with detailed questions, those days are over. 2. Expect delays in finding help. One person working the busiest department only allows for long lines, and slow moving operations. 3. NOT hearing thank you, or how can I help you. Because of being under staffed you wont be approached, and when you do get your turn in line for help, the associate doesn't have time to spend with you, or thank you for your business. 4. Lack of leadership. 10mins was spent waiting on an "MOD" (manager on duty) to unlock the product I had purchased. Again, this is probably from a lack of leadership in not having enough staff to handle the demand of the customers. (Coverage is dictated by corporate, not your local store) Overall, I feel extremely sad for the employees, and very disappointed in Home Depot's direction. PLEASE bring back the "experts", and staff your stores to handle the volumes!! You are missing an extreme opportunity, by undercutting your employees, and your customers.

the thing that bothers me the most is almost every time I go to either Lowes or HomeDepot they have aisles blocked off and it seems to be the aisle that I need to get something from. VERY ANNOYING, AND A WASTE OF TIME. can't they do stocking and whatever else they do, can't it be done at night ?

We were building a fence and Home Depot had everything we needed. The store was fairly clean, except the wood isle had multiple carts full of products at the end of the isle, blocking many of the wood locations. It's hard to find associates, but if you're adventurous and like finding things on your own, then it's a great store.

I went to Lowe's to purchase spray paint to paint the house numbers on my mailbox. I was in the paint aisle for about 10-15 minutes, but didn't get approached by any representative. In the end, I left because Lowe's didn't have the paint (outdoor metallic gold) and a store representative I tracked down didn't recommend any alternatives. I went to Home Depot the next day and picked up a can of spray paint. I asked the Paint Rep if this could be used on the mailbox. He told me that the store didn't carry metallic gold outdoor paint, but that I could use the spray paint that I picked up. He recommended sanding the house numbers for better adhesion and that I would have to reapply occasionally, since the paint was not made to be used outdoors. Overall, I'm satisfied with the honest feedback from the paint representative.

I would like to commend Terriakea for her excellent customer service. She was happy, friendly, and very pleasant to us as we checked out. I shop often at home depot and it isn't always a great experience checking out. I do appreciate people who love and appreciate their job. It just makes the customer feel appreciated and welcomed when one demonstrates these traits. Thank you again Terriakea. I do hope I am spelling your name correctly as it is IMPORTANT for recognition.

David in hardware is an excellent associate. He knows his stuff and spent 30 min of his time making sure I had all the parts I needed for my fence project. He is genuine and takes customer service to a whole new level. Thanks David !!
