Great customer service!
The other day I had a Honey-do-list and my list was way too complicated for me. On top of that I do not have a “honey“. So I took my list into your store and was greeted so sweetly by your employee named Phi. Phi was so attentive as he listened to what I was trying to accomplish. (I wanted to build something to support a hanging wall garden) The whole time Phi was encouraging and never made me feel foolish for not having any building skills. Phi spent at least an hour taking the time to understand what I was trying to accomplish. He asked the right questions, sketched out ideas as he put a lot of thought into determining what the best result would be for me. I truly appreciated the time that Phi took in explaining the details and planning everything with me. More importantly, I loved how professional Phi was and how he took such an interest in wanting to make sure that I was truly happy with my finished product. In the end I felt like I had my own special “honey“ holding my hand throughout the entire process. So thank you Home Depot for continuing to hire kind people like Phi. Phi is an exceptional employee who has great customer service skills and seems to truly enjoy his job. Good employees like Phi should never go unrecognized. I can’t wait to come back to Home Depot in the future for more of my honey-do-lists! Thank you again.

      Phyliss was awesome!
Phyliss is a cashier at the Tustin store. She greeted my friend, my brother and I when we entered the store. While checking out, she noticed that I had forgotten to get tape. So she checked out the products that I had in the cart and was really polite to my brother while he waited for me to come back with the tape. Exemplary kindness! Thank you Phyliss!

        Above and beyond customer service
Jose and Gregory’s customer service was above and beyond. I have never planted anything in a pot before and asked them for help. They helped me pick out a pot that was big enough for my plant that was around my price range. This pot didn’t have holes…. They got a drill and drilled them in for me AND helped me put my plant in my new pot. TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you so much.

          Rude cashier
I went to this store today to pick up some plumbing items. One of the items was a plumber's teflon tape (98 cents). When I arrived at the self check out stand, a cashier named, Regina, came over and started scanning the items for me. I noticed that the teflon tape didn't have a bar code on it, I pointed this out to Regina. I jokingly said, "Is it free if it doesn't have the bar code on it?" with a smile. After receiving no response from Regina, I said, " I am kidding." Regina proceeded to tell me that in a stern voice, and I quote, "If I catch you taking the sticker off next time...." and rudely threw the tape in the plastic shopping bag without looking up the price and entering the price of the teflon tape. I asked her if she is serious, and she said that she was serious. I asked her if she is accusing me of trying to steal the teflon tape, and Regina said, "Look, I am giving you the tape for free." (She is supposed to look up the price and charge her customer no matter how low the price of an item is.) I said "I don't want the tape for free. I want to pay for it. I can afford it." I asked to speak with the manager, and a female manager came over and helped me look up the price of the teflon tape which was 98 cents. It took her no more than 1 minute. Regina needs training in following areas: 1. She needs to learn how to handle items that don't have bar codes on them rather than falsely and rudely accusing her customers of removing the bar codes. 2. She needs to learn that she cannot give away items for free just because she either doesn't know how to look up price of an item that don't have bar code, or she is too lazy to look up the price on the computer and take out her frustration on her customers; she is one unhappy employee. 3. As an employee of the Home Depot, Regina represents her company, and she needs to be trained in customer service and treat her customers with common courtesy and professionalism rather than considering her customers as someone whom she should be smart with and condescending to win an argument. May be Regina was just having a bad day. I wish her well and hope she has a happy life. I hope that she is never treated other people the way she treated me today.

              Delivery Issue
I recently purchased a replacement range for a rental property from your store. The sales staff was amazing and attentive to my needs. However, the delivery service was ill-trained and unaccommodating. Despite clearly communicating my need for a morning delivery due to the tenant's work schedule, they provided me with the runaround and random delivery times. Please ensure your delivery team is better trained to handle such requests and schedule a morning delivery as initially promised.

                  Great customer service
Had a great experience on 3/5/24 with Tom in the Plumbing department at this store. He helped us find items we needed for our bathroom projects and also suggested other things to help make the project go easier. Great customer service!

                    Purchase Gas Dryer
I purchased a LG gas dryer to replace my existing one. Brandi was my salesperson and she was great. I had to ask the front for a salesperson in appliances but it only took maybe five minutes and once we sat down it was easy.
