How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Make certain your home is equipped for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water seep in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to snow and ice storms. Also, check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture freezes inside the cracks, you could be in for a headache.
Do you carry small moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
