Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used for composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
Since 2010, we have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment, as well as our communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our eco actions.

Does The Home Depot have any Spring Deals in 2025?
Get some of the top bargains of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that DIY list as the weather warms. It's also a great time for setting up new appliances, starting lawn and garden work outdoors, and cleaning indoors. Remember to replace your outdoor power equipment as well. Get it all done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, running only from April 24th through May 7th. Don't miss out on these bargains.
Do you carry specialty moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage or moving easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Do I need a generator?
We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When searching generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
How can I prepare my home for spring temperature changes?
Ready your home for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for a real headache. Check brickwork and cinder block for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine shingles or metal roof panels for damage or rust that could let water in. Gutters should be clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if damaged.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through the peephole or a nearby window when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
