Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there an appliance sale for the Spring Deals event?

Another huge spring sale is here, so prepare to save money. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you need. Remember to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products all year long.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Be confident your home is set for wild temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If moisture freezes in the cracks, you might be dealing with damage. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that may let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to winter weather. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's this month's project for the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on May 2, 2026. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this adorable keepsake box that fits all kinds of tiny treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!
