I when to HomeDepot today. And made a very expensive purchase. (Refrigerator). But it was totally worth it.

I went looking for a 64 gallon trash can and only one of the Home depots in my area (there are several) showed any in stock. the Upper Darby store. I went to the store and the cupboard was bare of 64 gallon cans! I found Judith to help me and she said sometimes they get misplaced and we proceeded to look around the area for 5-10 minutes. She then noticed a few cans way up on the top shelf. After trying the standard ladder (which was too short) she went and got the electric rising platform and for the next 15 minutes climbed the shelves, found me the trash can and brought it down for me! The best customer service I have ever experienced anywhere!

I was looking at this plant almost all season and purchase two last year. This year I really wanted a white plant but all you had was lime green. End of the season and some bulbs were turning brown so I asked for a discount which I was allowed. Cut off the brown bulbs after reading u about the plant

Anytime I come to that store, I have to show identification for anything. I purchase. I never went to that store on the 24th, but somehow they use my card My wallet was stolen!

I’d rather go to another store than upper Darby . Everything is open or gone through..people there are rude. Terrible!!I only go there because it’s around the corner..

I went in for firelogs only, but ended up shopping and purchasing much more. This was mostly due to fully stocked shelves from which to peruse, good signage for products, and friendly staff. Lawrence at the checkout was super pleasant and took care of my checkout process. The whole experience was really great. Even talked with other fellow shoppers at the christmas lights area and ended up doing a super early lights purchase.

i thought the number of sales associates was fantastic i’m from the scranton area and i’m used to having to search for people to help it made the shopping trip much easier

My last shopping experience at Home Depot was terrifying. Our house is currently on the market for sale, and because the carpet was dirty, we hoped to sell it as soon as possible. So, I went to the Home Depot near my house and found the carpet section. There was no salesperson around, and it took a while to finally find one. I found the carpet I wanted and arranged for a measurement at my house. A few days later, I paid over two thousand dollars via my phone and scheduled the carpet installation. I informed them that our house was on the market and hoped they wouldn't make any mistakes. Home Depot gave me an appointment for October 2nd from 11 am to 3 pm. Strangely, on September 30th, the carpet installer texted me saying the installation was canceled and there was no carpet. I couldn't believe it because I had already paid and confirmed the carpet was there. After work on September 30th, I went to Home Depot, but there was no salesperson around. Later, I found one, and they said there was no carpet. But I had paid for it and confirmed it was there. I found the carpet I had paid for myself in the store. I told them that my house was being inspected on October 3rd and that I needed the carpet installed on October 2nd. I couldn't afford to lose my carpet. On October 2nd, the installer texted me at 11:50 am saying there was a carpet and they would be there in about an hour. I waited at home until 1:40 pm, but no one showed up. I called and texted, but got no response. At round 3 pm the installer finally called and said there was no carpet and they weren't coming. Was this a joke? I went to Home Depot and saw my carpet there. I asked the associate why the installer said there was no carpet when it was in the store. Everyone just laughed without a word. I insisted on knowing why, and the associate said the installer had left. I couldn't believe this was Home Depot! I took a day off work specifically for the carpet installation. Home Depot should compensate me for my loss. Because the carpet wasn't installed, the buyer's inspector came on October 3rd and demanded a $4,000 reduction in the price. All of this was caused by Home Depot. I found a service manager at the time, who said they would compensate me, but there was no follow-up. Yesterday, I went to ask for my money back and compensation for my lost time and damages. Another manager said that once the carpet money was refunded, it was no longer their responsibility. This was a terrifying shopping experience at Home Depot.i would like Home Depot store manager contact me when see this post!it is unbelievable, i never see any store doesn’t want business. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. The store is clean and in good order. The staff in the rental department are great!

I bought a Hoover upright vacuum cleaner from your store on 9/16 for $129.00. Imagine my surprise when I went to BJ's and found the same vacuum for $99.00 and $20.00 off for membership.

I try not to go to this HD because every time I go there it is in disarray. Not a neat store. Materials scattered in the isles. Can’t find what I’m looking for because it’s not where it should be. The only HD I go to that has a cop there all day.

Why bother asking for a review? It’s not like you’re going to follow up on it.

Not enough time or space

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. I TOOK MY PRECIOUS TIME TO WRITE A RAVING REVIEW ABOUT A HOME DEPOT ASSOCIATE SO THEY WOULD BE RECOGNIZED FOR EXEMPILARY WORK AND HOME DEPOT HAS NOT ACKNOWLEDGED HIM OR EVEN INFORMED HIM OF MY PRAISES. HIS NAME IS DAVID. HE IS ALWAYS HELPFUL EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT A CUSTOMER WHO IS A CONTRACTOR AND HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE. HE DESERVES TO BE COMMENDED. I AM A HANDY PERSON AND APPRECIATE THAT I CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON DABID TO HELP WITHOUT MAKING ME FEEL INADEQUATE...EVEN IF I AM IN THAT RESPECT...TEE HEE.

I love this store because of the hours. I get off of work too late to make it to most home depots. The closing time here is perfect.

I had some plumbing questions because my sewer line was clogged and I didn't know what to expect when the plumber was coming the next day. Two employees helped answer all my questions and personally helped me get all the items I needed. They also took me to the self checkout which is confusing to me and bagged and scanned my items for me. I was so upset about the plumbing bill I was going to incur and they made me feel much better about what to expect.

Nancy was QUICK TO HELP !! And WAS QUICK TO HELP LOAD IT IN MY CART .

We use this Home Depot a lot, and after they helped so well with some errors in a recent order, I’ll always come back. The staff is friendly, informed, and informative. Impressive for a big box store.

SHE WAS AND IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT AND EXPLAINED WHEN I MADE A REQUEST TO REPRODUCE A PAINT COLOR FROM A PHONE ITEM THAT SHE HAD TO REFUSE, RATHER THAN BECOMING DEFENSIVE.. I'VE INTERACTED WITH HER SEVERAL TIMES AND HER AND THE OTHER LADY IN PAINT ARE ALWAYS POLITE, PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL AND BOTH ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP YOU FIGURE IT OUT. I REALLY DO APPRECIATE MARIE IN PAINT AND HER CO WORKER, WHOSE NAME I DO NOT KNOW.

Picking my laminate for next week

Somehow I ended up on this screen after I received an email asking me how my visit to the store went. And it is best that I do not say exactly how my visit went within this review. You definitely don't want me being the person to do the review for the store. Especially someone that had to go through that checkout line where they yell next all the time and then they ask you for some odd reason if you're paying by cash or credit.

Took over 45 minutes to move 1 customer in a 6 person contractor line! Horrible Sloth-like cashiers!

I had a great experience looking for a washer. Chris over in the appliance section was awesome! It wasn't hard for me to decide what I wanted. He took his time with me and never pressured me into purchasing items. He gave me options and told me to take my time and think about it. Not only did purchase the washer I wanted, I save some money. I would definitely recommend this Home Depot location.

This is the Best Home Depot in the tri-state area except they need to hire more people to work on the floor to help you. It’s very hard to get somebody to help me. They always tell me that’s not their department.

I had a very positive experience at checkout because Wanda has a fantastic disposition. She was efficient, positive and friendly.

Jermaine is the best store manager I have ever met in my 20+years of shopping at Home Depot stores, and Joe is very accommodating, as well. These guys are great examples of what managers at all your stores should do. And Mark is definitely one of the most helpful people on the floor.

I tried to purchase an entry door into my garage. I paid for the measurements and was notified it was time to pick a door. I went into the store and the gentleman really couldn’t help me find a door that would work. He said he was new and someone would call me about it but that never happened. I wound up updating my current door, albeit it’s over 30 years old but will do for now.
