Employees are reluctant to help seniors with heavy items. Items l needed were on back of pallet under their storage racks. Had to crawl on hands and knees to get what I needed. Asked for help and got none.

This store has an issue with customer service. Too many associates do not know what to do. Their managers fail to come down to assist, instead they only help "over the phone". Most of them do not act like they care about customer concerns or compaints and would rather say they cant help and to come back later. Every customer service employee I have encountered has failed to help and instead gives an attitude. They act like we as costomers, do not know what we are talking about when it is actually the other way around. Associates on the salesfloor serve the customers better than the ones at customer service.

The associates are all very helpful we especially love Cassandra in lumber. She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

Best customer service in the Northwest burbs and maybe anywhere.

Watch out for their subcontractors. I waited around for a company to come and measure my home for doors and no one showed up within the 2 hour window and no one called to say they would be late. I called customer service twice and was told they might be an hour late. Still waiting.

The store is very clean. The sales people are knowable and helpful. They went above and beyond to help.

They REALLY try to help you! I've gone way out of my way to shop here! All my appliances are from Home Depot! Spend so much time at Home Depot, I feel like I LIVE THERE! THANK YOU!

Everyone is always helpful the store is clean and the things that you are looking for are stocked. I have 4 HomeDepots in my area I choose Volo because of those reasons

Always enjoy coming in to shop. Very friendly staff and always soooo helpful.

We live in McHenry and drive out to Volo specifically to have our needs met by Debbie Walsh. She is a great employee and is knowledgeable about all of the products. She is friendly and we enjoying working with her. We highly recommend her to everyone as she is well worth the extra drive.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Paul: Always remembers us. He is always willing to give us his sincere time and opinion when it comes to electrical. We completely replaced all outlets, switches, fans, light fixtures and more around the house. He helped us with all questions. He does this for all the customers too. Love seeing him when we come in. Mito: Always is welcoming. Giving advice on the right wood for the job. My husband works late, I come on my lunch to get the wood cut. He makes it possible to work efficiently on jobs around the house as first time home buyers.

In the store Sat for a large tile purchase - Matt G in flooring was extremely helpful and it was appreciated.

Store is well organized, and clean. Employees for the most part are very friendly and knowledgeable. Have not had any problems returning items. If I need help loading my car, the cashier will call for someone to assist. The cashier always asks if I need help with large or bulky items.

I had a good experience and was able to find everything on my list. Walter was so helpful, I was able to find things quickly and he helped me check out so it was a nice easy time for me.

All the employees at this store are committed to make your shopping experience successful. I particularly wish to acknowledge Debbie Walsh in carpet sales. Her product knowledge and customer rapport were principal reasons for making several Home Depot carpet purchases. If carpeting is your need, Debbie is the person you will want to collaborate with.

Very clean. Feel safe, sanitizer available everywhere. Associates everywhere to assist. Great pricing on appliances!

Debbie Walsh from Flooring Department provided us with excellent customer service. She addressed all our questions and went above and beyond in assisting us choose the carpet for our house remodel. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and patient. I have other HD stores closer to home but I will always chose the Volo HD because of the friendly staff. Thank you, Debbie!!!

Mike in the paint department is great! He went above and beyond in helping us select the correct paint for our project and was able to match the color we needed perfectly. Mike's customer skills are outstanding!

The store features an excellent selection of carpeting and padding along with installation - which was our reason for visiting. Employees Ray Grocke, Debbie Walsh were very well-versed on these products and extremely easy to work with. The entire experience was rewarding given the expertise of these individuals and the quality of the products.

They are helpful and are there to answer questions

During this time of covid-19 I shy away from going to stores. It is scary. I was reassured when I walked in to the Home Depot because they had hand sanitizer, masks and gloves available for the customers at the entryway. That along with all the helpful employees made my visit so much more comfortable than most stores. Thank you for caring about your customers.

Dorin at the Home Depot in Volo is a rockstar. Really helped me out with figuring out what I needed for my custom bathtub project when I had no clue what I was even looking for (I am very new to these sort of projects). He helped me find it while he was supposed to be on his break. Dorin rocks and really went above and beyond! Home Depot seems beyond lucky to have him as an employee.

thanks again for a pleasant experience. problems occurred with my order but were well taken care of at customer service by Cheyenne, Justine and Gary. assembly done well by Scott and Mark in tool rental ahead of scheduled assembler which again made for a smooth order. hats off to the store and it's associates. always making my wife and i feel at home, trusting in their recommendations and products. thanks again
