Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Home Depot Spring Deals available?

Another great spring sale is here, so prepare to save. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you need. Remember to check out our mulch, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be certain your home is set for wild temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. On the outside of your house, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water seep in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to winter storms. Also, check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture freezes inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Do I need a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop in May 2026?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a sliding lid is a great way to exercise listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This cute kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
