Very clean very friendly staff

I had an exceptional shopping experience at the Wasilla Store. The store was clean and well organized. The sales associates were exceptional and easily accessible. Even through my order was cancelled they went out of their way to rectify the issue and come to a fair resolution to the issue. I felt like they actually cared rather or not I returned again!

I was frantic, as my paint was running out and Keller Williams was closed. I had 5 painters working at the time in the building that had to be finished over the weekend in order to turn the building back over to the owner, after my business lease ran out. The owners required me to paint the entire 900 sf interior and they supplied the paint. With all of my help there, and little to no paint, I went to Home Depot, with the thin hope of matching a color from a brand that Home Depot doesn't carry. Lucky for me, I got an experienced person, John, who has apparently worked in the Paint Dept. at Home Depot for many years. It was a great experience, watching him look up numbers in his computer, trying to figure out what would be the best way to resolve my problem (color match) with the best paint he had. He did just that! I returned to the business and we proceeded to finish the job. The paint was a perfect match, which is really difficult to do, but Home Depot's John accomplished it! And, in record time. You don't want 5 workers standing around with their hands in their pockets! The place was painted, and the owners said it was an excellent job! I got my $1,500 deposit back the next day, thanks to John at Home Depot in Wasilla, Alaska.

The employees go above and beyond to assist customers' answers to their questions, even though it's not their department. Yeah Home Depot!!

It seems to have improved in service in the last few months.

In selecting a new kitchen set up with cabinets, countertops, sink, etc., we had a great experience with the young sales lady Brandi. She was familiar with the products and manufacturers and all the various styles and add-ons available. The choices were really good and the help exceptional. A very pleasant experience.

THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY NICE AND TRY TO BE HELPFUL BUT THEY TRUELY NEED BETTER TRAINING TO INCREASE THEIR KNOWLEDGE BASE YES I DID FINALLY FIND THE PRODUCT I WAS LOOKING FOR. THE YOUNG MAN HELPING ME TRIED VERY HARD TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS BUT HAD TO GO TO SOMEONE ELSE

The young man with a beard who answered my questions about welders was the most polite, informed and helpful employee ever. I was so impressed. He is a keeper for you and even helped us load. Wow, we will be back and look forward to having this young man help us again. He deserves a promotion!

Our local store is wonderful when it comes to service and staffing! Especially the cashiers, contractor services, and customer service staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about where to find most products, and the communication with other store staff is awesome too. My only complaint is that sometimes the popular lumber sizes are very scant on selection, i wish they would keep the 10' 2x4's stocked better, but that is about my only complaint!

Poor quality of lumber, no customer service, waited for manager to show but never did. Lots of non-construction educated employees so had to get knowledgeable help esp compounded by many employees that English is a second language.

The Wasilla, Alaska Home Depot store has the worst customer service of any store I have ever been in. Their Greeter is nice but the floor staff "Pack Up" in groups chatting, avoiding eye contact with customers that are seeking help. If you ask for help the responses may be: I don't work in that Department That Department Pro is on break/Lunch or not here today I don't know It's over there - without offer to take you there and assist you You need to go to Lowes

Shopping was great. it always is. Filling out the survey not so much.

Generally able to get what I need/want here, in sizes and quantities needed. Get good advice, too.

Lumber department manager lady didn't know what her lumber dept had in stock.

Love the store..always good deals on lumber and 70%off rack is the bomb!!!

I have found customer service at this store to be extremely helpful. Even if an item cannot be found they try their best to help! They are friendly and professional while remaining genuine and personal. I had a hiccup trying to purchase an item that couldn't be located anywhere in the store and the large hardware section (e.g. Tool cabinets) was a chaotic mess that day. This is not the norm for this store and I'm not sure what happened. Also, the garden section has had a very tacky pipe covered in torn insulation that makes the store seem like a dump! I have taken pictures to try to show corporate but still haven't sent them as I am not sure how. But customers and staff deserve I nicer looking store than that. It should be dealt with and looks very unprofessional!

Extremely helpful product specialists and cashiers. Good products with good value for the money paid. Plenty of items in stock for purchase

Always enjoy going to this store. Cashiers are very friendly and helpful. My cashier was Marlua (hope spelling is correct) and she was very courteous.

Great sale on annuals. Got some great plants , both herbs and flower.Very good customer service, witness Home Depot lady helping an older gentleman loading brick onto the back of his truck.

Great store and we love going there.

Employees not very helpful. They have more important things to do in their day than to help customers.
