Can it withstand the hurricane wind pressure on a standard inward opening exterior fiberglass door?
The Master Lock Model 270D Door Security Bar is designed as a supplemental security device to help resist forced entry, not as a hurricane-rated door reinforcement system. Master Lock states that the 270D is made from 20-gauge steel and is tested to be up to 2x stronger than the previous 265D model in compression testing, but it does not carry a hurricane wind-pressure or impact rating.
when this lock bar is on an inside front door can someone on the outside of the front door PULL instead of pushing to get the lock undone?

Would a three year old be able to open a door from the inside with this against it? They can unlock the deadbolt. So I'm looking for two cheap/easy solutions in one.

It is intended as additional security used in conjunction with your current door hardware. The bar is designed to work on many different surfaces, including tiles, wood, linoleum, and carpets. What usually provides best performance is to position the bar with one end under the doorknob, then tightly adjust the foot at approximately 18in from the base of the door.
Looks like the weakest point of this construction is the hinge in the middle. What locks it straight? What keeps it fm buckling at the hinge? What is the strength of the hinge? Can you rotate the top handle & bottom rubber square to increase the physics
Will this work on ceramic tile floors?
Works on my tile floors. Get it the correct height and make sure the foot is all the way down on the floor. I also give it a little push with my foot to make sure it's tight. I have 2 of them. Buying two more for my daughter.

Why these locks dont have anything to keep it from sliding down. Mine are broken and they still getting in my house.
