Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Spring Deals sale?

Another big spring sale is here, so get ready to save money. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you're looking for. Don't forget to check out our mulch, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is set for wild temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture freezes in the crevices, you might be in for a headache. On your house's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that may let water seep in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to winter storms. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in May?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a trinket box with a sliding lid is a great way to sharpen fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
