                                Terrible Customer Service
                                WE are both seniors and went to get some top soil for the yard. At NO time were we offered any help to either load or unload our heavy items to from the cart. We asked an employee where we could find a item and she had no clue not only where the item was located but what the item was. I know there are staff shortages but staff should know where items are located or if they don't offer to find someone who does. We used to get greeted when we entered the store nope.... just a could not care less attitude by everyone... no customer service!

                                      Horrible horrible horrible!
                                      We paid 8200.00 for windows, and after waiting three months they arrive and say they cannot install them and make them waterproof. They left and said we would get a refund. Not only 3 weeks later have we not got our refund back-but they are refusing to even answer on it. We have called dozens of times-got no response back. My absolute advice is DO NOT TRUST HOME DEPOT!! They will take your money and refuse to refund it when they can’t provide the services. We will have to hire a lawyer at this point to get the money they have basically stolen from us.

                                            Purchasing Experience
                                            The sales person, a gentleman whose name was hidden by his apron was not a pleasant person at all; he was cold and distant and acted as if our presence bothered him, as if we had come to interrupt. A problem arose with the pickup date that he did not explain well, it is my impression that he was trying to confuse the issue; the microwave was going to be picked up by another person, not me, and I did not know exactly when that person could come, The sales person insisted that I must provide a pick up date, without any further explanation, and since we didn't understand each other on this issue, I asked him: is it possible that the sale could fall because of this trifle? And his answer in his cold and distant demeanor was the same: “you must provide a date”. My impression is that the he would have been happy if I had left without purchasing the microwave.

                                              Had to get a new hot water heater :-(
                                              Our 18 year old hot water heater worked great, but was leaking and obviously on its last legs. Got our money's worth. Home Depot had a great selection of high tech, internet enabled, more efficient, safer heaters. We picked one with a faster recovery rate and nearly double the efficiency of the old one. We chose to use a HD approved installer, using a nearly seamless interface. One online order to Delta resulted in an immediate written quote emailed to us, sale of the unit, safety valve, expansion tank, catch basin, all wiring and piping, pickup, delivery, removal of the old unit, installation and test of a new unit, upgraded to local standards. A permit was included and inspection, but so far we have seen no evidence of of either. The installer immediately tried to squeeze another $100 from us, something the seller warned us about and we immediately refused, threatening to send him home. That was resolved in about 120 seconds and we proceeded with the installation, which was done admirably quickly and well. He explained some basics but left us to wrestle with the Internet installation on our own, which didn't go nearly as smoothly as our garage door opener and home security system did. He left before we were able to ascertain if it was heating, but water was circulating with no apparent leaks, arcing of electrical connections, etc. Turned out that it's working great so far. The installation is rather expensive, but it is turnkey. You could probably get a better deal finding an honest local handyman to do it, but the whole job was done in well under 24 hours from ordering and I never had to travel farther than my garage to oversee it or do any work at all.

                                                    Awesome service!!
                                                    I am currently painting all the rooms in my house so I am making lots of color choices and buying both sample jars and gallons. I do not know the man's name in the paint department (sorry, wish I did), but he wears a white shirt, I believe he is the supervisor of paint at the Yulee FL store. He has been so helpful and saved me time and money by making sure I got the right paint for the right job. I also painted the deck on our house and he suggested Deck Over and I am so glad he did. It looks awesome. Thanks.

                                                      Cashier said HD will never offer Apple Pay, they tried it one time and the first customer that checked out, everyone in the store was charged for that customers purchase. She was adamant that this happened and got angry when I told her that was not possible. OMG. where do people get their information?

                                                        Ordered a door on 9/2/23, the wrong door was order by Home Depot. Mistakes happen but Home Depot is acting like it’s the customer’s fault. Today is 11/6/23. I can’t get to speak with a manager and when I did speak to Patrick he basically said 1 or 2 days ti reach out to the customer doesn’t make a difference. No apology for their mistake, it was as if it was the customer’s fault.
