Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there an appliance sale for the Spring Deals event?

Enjoy some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that DIY list as the weather brings sunny cheer. It's also a great time for organizing your home with the perfect storage, setting up appliances indoors, and doing lawn and garden work outdoors. Be sure to upgrade your outdoor power equipment and patio furniture as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale that runs from 4/23 through 5/10. Don't miss out on these bargains.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Make certain your home is set for wild temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that might let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets in the cracks, you could be looking at trouble.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop in May 2026?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!
