Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a spring sale?

Another huge spring sale is here, so get ready to save money. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you want. Remember to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products all year long.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Make certain your home is set for spring temperature shifts by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. If water gets in the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage that may let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you have moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I get a generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the May Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on May 2, 2026. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this sweet keepsake box that fits all kinds of tiny treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!
