Your local hardware store has everything you need to get your home, yard, and car ready for the winter. We are your one-stop shop for fire pits, weather stripping, snow brushes, pipe insulation, and other must-have, cold-weather essentials that keep you warm on the inside and protected on the outside. Find what you need at your local Deerfield Home Depot or get it at your doorstep with our fast, free delivery. You can also explore our Home Depot product locator app, which displays the aisle location, store map, and current inventory for the items you're looking for. Use the app to start any returns you have, too.

At The Home Depot, we love giving back to our community. We support our local community outreach programs, including a drive for the homeless at the Bernard Forfest Deerfield Village Hall.

You can find us northwest of the I-94 and Waukegan Road intersection, in the Deerbrook Shopping Center. Our team looks forward to seeing you in our aisles. Remember to check the local ad before you visit to find great in-store deals.

Sincerely,

Your The North Shore Home Depot Store Team

Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Home Depot Spring Deals available?

Find some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that DIY list as the weather brings cheerful sunshine. It's also a great time for setting up appliances indoors, doing lawn and garden work outdoors, and organizing your home with new storage. Be sure to upgrade your patio furniture and outdoor power equipment as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale that runs only from April 23rd through May 10th. Shop fast to catch these bargains.

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Make certain your home is set for spring temperature shifts by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture freezes in the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. On the outside of your house, inspect shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to winter storms. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a trinket box with a sliding lid is a great way to exercise fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
