The Home Depot gift cards are a popular choice during the Holiday season, with givers and doers that can be purchased in-store at our brick-and-mortar stores or online at homedepot.com. If you are a recipient, you can check your gift card balance online or visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Our gift cards can be redeemed in-store or used to make purchases online with no additional fees.
What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.

We deliver curbside and you can order online for convenient store pickup daily until 6 p.m. Here's how:
- Buy Online and choose the "Store Pickup" option on the product page or in your cart.
- Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email or text message letting you know that it's ready to pick up.
- Go to designated Curbside Pickup location at The Home Depot store you selected and follow the instructions received in your email or text notification for Curbside Pickup. Bad Lumber!!
I was at the store ordering lumber for a project on May 21. After I placed the order and paid for it; I sat in my car and started looking at the statement, I realized the order was entered wrong, when I went back to correct it, I was charged twice for delivery.
I paid extra for good duality lumber, when the lumber arrived, there was many pcs. that were split and twisted that I could not use.
I can't get the items back to the store, will need a truck. do I pay for another delivery?

Replacing 1950's vintage outdoor light fixtures
My 1950's vintage light fixtures were not operating, corroded and beyond my knowledge to fix. Michael, an associate in your electrical department, viewed the pictures of my old fixtures, walked me over to the replacement fixtures and helped me make my buying choice. Michael then described all of the safety precautions I should be mindful to follow. I went home and followed Michael's instruction and the packaging instructions exactly. Now, when I look out into my yard, I see my newly installed lights and there is a smile on my face. Thanks Michael! I couldn't have done it without you.
