Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Spring Deals event?

Another big spring sale is here, so prepare to save money. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you want. Remember to check out our patio furniture, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Make certain your home is ready for springtime weather changes by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, inspect metal roofing or shingles for damage or rust that may let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a lid that slides on is a great way to sharpen listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This fun kids' project is happening on May 2nd, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
