- Vacuum regularly and spot clean; for hard-to-remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended; rotating your rugs every 3-6 months will protect against uneven wear from foot traffic and furniture weight
- Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles
- Avoid direct sunlight as it will cause the colors in your area rug to fade over time; place your area rug away from direct sunlight whenever possible

Questions & Answers
Can this rug be used on a heated bathroom floor?
Is it possible to get swatches of the different beige colors? I have hardwood that I want to complement. TIA
Hello Phil, thank you for your interest in our rugs. We unfortunately do not have rug samples. It is best to order the smallest size rug and return it after viewing it at hand.
Can these runner rugs be used on stairs? Looking at the 2x22’ size
Hello Ryan, thank you for your inquiry. While we do not recommend our rugs being cut or customized. You may reach out to a local professional who can set up stair runners.
is the rug stiff or more floppy?
Hello Sarah, thank you for your inquiry. For jute fibers, they are softer compared to sisal and seagrass. The jute fibers in this rug offer a relatively comfortable underfoot and are coarser than materials like wool. This rug should have some stiffness to it.
are the measurements shown actual true measurements of the rug?
Hello sherrycalh, the measurements for our rugs will potentially be a few inches shorter due to how natural fiber rugs are processed.
Recommended padding
While a rug pad isn't mandatory, it's highly recommended, especially for a jute rug like this one. A pad offers several benefits: it helps to protect the rug fibers from wear and tear, provides extra cushioning underfoot, and prevents the rug from slipping. You can find a variety of rug pads available on the website that would be suitable.
Which side of this rug goes up ? Knotty side or smoother side ?
Hello Tammy! The Knotted side of the rug goes up. Thank you for your question!
is the beige/ivory and natural/ivory stripped rugs or is that just the blend of colors?
Hello! For the Natural Fiber Collection, Design: NF447N is not a stripped rug. We do our best to identify the colors of every rug as accurately as possible but there can be instances when color variations lead to subjective interpretations of particular color tones. Also, due to differences in monitor size & screen resolution, the color may appear slightly different in your browser than they do in person. We recommend purchasing the smallest version of this rug just for the purpose of viewing it and then returning it - check out retailers that offer free and/or in store returns! Thank you for your question!
