Product Details

Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) is an unthreaded steel thin-wall raceway of circular cross section designed for the physical protection and routing of conductors and cables. It qualifies as an equipment grounding conductor when installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code and utilizing appropriate fittings. Can be used in Class II, Division 2 and Class III, Division 1, locations where the fittings are dust-tight.
  • UL 797 listed - made in USA
  • Galvanized exterior, organic coating on the interior
  • Install exposed or concealed
  • Install inside or outside with rain tight fittings

        A:  Depot can cut this if required. Conduit can be joined with either set screw or compression connectors.

            A:  EMT shouldn't be placed underground unless it is encased in concrete or if protected by a pipe-wrap. Please note that electrical codes and requirements vary by state and you should contact your municipality for specifics.
