Every piece meets the highest grading standards for strength and appearance. This lumber is for a wide range of uses from framing of houses to basic interior finishing applications. Boards can also be used for carpentry, hobbies, furniture, shelving and general finish work. The wood has straight grain and has uniform texture. It has low shrinkage and is worked very easily by hand and machine tools. The product is easy to glue and has good nailing and screw holding properties. The paint retention properties are good and it is fairly easily treated with preservatives.

It is a pretty good piece of wood. Well, I have to try it first. But if it is wood, and more or less this size, I shall be a happy fat kid eating cake.

Inaccurate ratings below
The other people here giving bad reviews are goons. First of all, the person complaining "these wern't 8 inches, they are 7.5" doesn't know how lumber works. Everyone knows measurements are .5 inches below, a 2x4 isn't really 2x4 etc. The second person, if you got 6ft spans, it was a shipping error, not the board's fault. This wood is a good value for the price.

Inaccurate description
I based my project on a 8in width. Is this plank 8in? No, it's 7.5in. It is, inexplicably, 8ft long.

Not at all what I had in mind.
I'm working on a planter box for outdoor use in heavy sun and moisture. I thought I ordered cedar planks. These came instead. They're more like pine at a cedar price. I'm having to heavily polyurethane them for the application. And 8 feet my foot. They're more like 6 feet at best.

Perfect size for my basement steps
I bought two of these to make a simple ramp in and out of my basement in order to make it easier to get the lawn mower in and out, and they were already cut to the perfect size!
