Okay- hand select your boards at the store
Other reviews state these are not good boards, it depends on your view. One these are furring strip boards, there not top quality. But they work for projects as need be, not meant to be show pieces. There are a lot of junk boards, which I recommend going to the HD and sorting through the pile to find the good-straight boards. Out of 40, you can find 10-15 boards. For the value, they get the job done- I don't expect a board at this cost to be prime. Do not buy online and await pickup- they will count out X amount and pull it. Take the time to look the pile. When home let the wood acclimate- to see if they will warp.

Simply put this is junk wood!
Used this to keep my trusses properly spaced before installing osb on my shed roof. Simply put it is made from junk wood. I remember when these super strips were actually made from good wood. Would not buy again due to low quality. Lots of knots, splits and never straight!

    Not a true 1" x4"
Fine piece of lumber but it's actual size is only 1/2" thick instead of 3/4". Wanted to use it for window sills but it's a little too thin. Found uses for it but not as window sills. Specs. rate it as a 1"x4" but it doesn't fit the nominal size.
