The Colmet Steel Edging Stake secures your Colmet steel edging sold separately in place using a strong tapered design that easily interlocks edging together. These stakes are 4 in. longer than the stakes that come with Colmet steel edging, perfect for soft or sandy areas where deeper staking must be used. The brown, powder-coated steel will match perfectly with brown Colmet steel edging and provide long-lasting value for years of use.

A:  You will get the one that is tapered a couple of times, the other image is old. There would be no difference in performance however.

          A:  There are additional stakes with a curved top and does a great job of supporting the ends and dress them up very well. They are reasonable and worth the price.

          A:  Will be using Skil Saw circular saw with Lenox steel cutting blade to square off ends. Seven 8 foot lengths are slightly more than I needed to have so cutting ends will not be a problem.
