Nice rags but pretty expensive
Every craftsman needs rags or cloths of some sort and lots of them. The Precision-Fiber Cloth rags are a good choice of general shop chores. They soak up water instantly and are strong. They can be rinsed and reused. Edges aren’t frayed and they tear like cloth. My first chore was applying wax to my table saw top. Worked like a charm. Stays strong and doesn’t leave little pieces on every steel corner like a paper towel will. Also worked well for applying stain to wood and polish to the kitchen granite counter tops.
My only gripe with these rags is not performance but cost. At $23 for 100 (or $.23 ea) you can run through a few dollars in a hurry unless you are reusing a lot. The pic attached compares two “pick a size” Brawny paper towels which are my usual alternative. Two paper towels costs about $.024. While the rags are a somewhat better product, they probably aren’t a hundred times better. I would recommend the Precision-Fiber Cloth rags for situations where cotton like performance is really needed.

These rags are nowhere close to t-shirt cloth. After just a light use they begin to lose their fibers onto the project being wiped with them. Don't waste your money if you are planning to use these for staining or polyurethane type finish.
