Hello - Home Depot sells a number or brackets that fit this particular window box. Just make sure you purchase a bracket that is at least 7.6" wide. The standard size is 8", and some are even expandable. Happy Gardening!

It's a plastic item - so I wouldn't recommend mounting - with soil and water , nails alone might not hold it
7.6" denotes the front to back (width) measurement. The height is approximaly 6 3/8" (6.375").
If you want to place it in a bracket, you will have place it in the bracket. You could use plastic ties to attach it to the bracket if needed.
