I did prime and paint this. This product was purchased to build corn hole boards. I don’t leave them Outside overnight... but they do set in wet and dry grass. Also check for worn areas... missing paint. Touch them up to keep the wood protected

Is this an exterior grade plywood?

Asked by Boz54 January 18, 2020

Answers

Not sure if it is Boz, but what I can say for sure is that it is very durable. What I choose it for was for that durability quality since I knew I was going to cover it in aluminum sheeting to perpetrate a much more expensive product (tool/storage box).

Can i use this as subflooring sitting on the floor beams in my bathroom?

Asked by Lance December 30, 2019

I would recommend using 3/4" as a sub floor when you are direct to your floor joists. You can also use 3/4" T&G (tongue and groove) O.S.B. (oriented strand board), it is much less expensive.

Good quality plyboard I used recently and in the past to build a wooden tool box I later covered in aluminum sheet material to resemble a much more expensive tool boxes sold by the bigger tool box manufacturers out there. Looks simply magnificent on the side of my semi truck.

I had mistaken AC for BC and when I saw the price online, I headed to Home Depot. HD additionally offers the advantage of having the lumber cut to size. Although I have my woodshop, I have not yet setup as we moved recently and I needed more storage space in my basement. Hence these plywood sheets came in handy. Except for the absence of the fine sanded face of AC BC with it's just sanded face offers the same experience. In fact I headed back for more and building more shelving for storage space in my basement and garage.

Great product overall. My only complaint would be the four barcoded stickers placed on the plywood. The adhesive was impossible to get off, leaving marks after the wood was stained.

It did but the sheet that I grabbed was 1/2" not the 3/4" that I was charged for. I did not realize that until I returned to work after I had the peice cut to fit the job that it was needed for. I was able to make it work but I will have to look alot closer when I purchase plywood again.
