I went in to purchase a board to replace in my barn and this was the perfect size And was Perfectly straight, I love the beautiful rich tones in the wood. Definitely will be coming back for that exact same type of board for any new replacements it really stands out in my barn and I don't wanna stay in it or paint it because I just loved the color in it I love natural wood

Structurally, they are fine. I rip them down to 2x4s and use them to make open frame workbenches. Sometimes it is difficult to find enough in a bundle that are straight and with smaller tight knots necessary for appearance reasons. The last batch had a lot of saw blade marks/gouges apparently caused from a bad clamping system that allowed the boards to wobble while being sawed to thickness. Still present after being planed to finished thickness. Was able to work around the flaws or hide them.

2x8x8 had some Wang to them, which required additional hardware to secure level and plumb
