Product Details

Every piece meets the highest grading standards for strength and appearance. A sought after species, western red cedar is versatile, durable, weatherable, and just plain attractive to look at. It has a consistent rougher headed texture and fine grain. The rough surface may be used to match existing rough patterns giving the board many different uses. Tannish brown in color, the grain pattern is tight and it has green moisture content.

A:  I found very little moisture in the 3 2x8's I purchased. I also purchased other cedar boards and they were near moisture free as well.

        A:  The nominal width should be 8". The ACTUAL width is 7.5" because it's not kiln-dried.
