Can this be used on interior concrete floors?
Yes the Ghostshield 8500 can be used indoors
Does this cover 125sq ft in 2 coats or 1?
Thanks for showing an interest in Ghostshield products. The 125 sq. ft. coverage includes (2) coats. If applying a single coat, a gallon would cover 250 sq. ft.
Can this product be used on concrete blocks of a cross space?
Does it make the surface slick?
So it is applied as two coats wet on wet. Since it is a 20x24 garage floor i am doing, it would be impossible to not walk on it before the first coat dries. How do I handle putting on the second coat?
Thank you for your interest in Ghostshield products! Siloxa-Tek is an invisible, penetrating concrete sealer that does not form a film or coating on the surface. You can walk on treated concrete while the sealer is still wet without affecting its performance. However, we recommend avoiding walking on any untreated concrete while the sealer is wet. Residue transferred from your footwear may leave no immediate visible marks, but footprints can become visible later when the untreated concrete gets wet.
I have a new concrete shower pan that has a solid concrete stain on top. Is this the appropriate penetrating sealer for that application?
Thanks for showing an interest in Ghostshield products. Siloxa-Tek 8500 must come into direct contact with the concrete material to catalyze or "react" in order to provide repellency properties. The solid stain (depending on the type) may prevent this. If the stain is a coating or forms a film on the surface, Siloxa-Tek 8500 would not be appropriate.
will this be effective on a bathroom floor after mold remediation?
Can it be used on a kitchen countertop
We would recommend either Ghostshield Countertop 660, 770, or 880. These products are also sold here on HomeDepot.com. 660 is a low gloss finish. 770 is a water-based invisible finish. 880 is a solvent-based invisible finish.
