Theoretically, it would sound like it is possible. However, the difficulty would be too spread the weight evenly. The amount of pressure required to lift that much weight would be excessive, exceeding the capabilities of the hand pump, even if you were able to pump both bags at the same time. If you were able to lift the item slightly, it would be minimal due to the pressure required within the bag. It is not recommended for use at this weight.
Yes. Putting a thin sheet of metal, wood or plastic in between the bag and the refrigerator will create a larger lift area by preventing the bag from wrapping around the bottom of the refrigerator and increase the lift height.
Typically, the maximum pressure that can be applied by hand is about 25 psi. I would not exceed 40 psi for safety reasons.
The amount of lift height depends on the weight being lifted, the shape of the lifted area (full or partial coverage) and the strength in one’s hand or feet, depending on how it is pumped up. With no load, it will fill to about 2 ½ inches. With a 300 lb full coverage load, it will lift from ¾ to 1” typically.
Yes. A locksmith used one to shim my door open once. The only problem was the shim slightly bent the door frame and the wire he used to hit the latch puncture the insulation so I had some road noise the rest of the time I wonder the car.
I seriously doubt that is possible since you have to apply the force through pumping up the bladder with the hand squeeze pump, plus it would likely take more than 300lb of force to open the car door. Better off getting locksmith. If it's a GM don't use a slim jim or you may be paying to have the locks reconnected to the linkage if they haven't changed the design in recent years.
Think he means to force the window open enough to unlock the car, like locksmiths do. In that situation, you most certainly can accomplish your question. 🤙
Jackson not sure if they recommend this for that application. i have seen other similar ones that come with lockout kits.. if it fit it would not unlock the door but rather would help with access for other tools to do so.
It will not open a car door, but it can help to get the top back edge on some cars open enough to get an unlocking tool access to unlock the door.
Well if you lock out this is not going to get you in your truck
Yes it can help you in a crisis.but manufacture is not responsible for damage due to misuse of product.
They told me the people at night don’t know where to put the new stuff at so they’d have no idea where it’s at
Raz i have run into that before with other products.. in some cases they have not been put out on the floor yet.. i found mine in the hand tool section. also when looking online for in store items many times the location of the item will be listed.
My Home Depot had it in one of the three hand tool aisles near the pry bars.
For the same reason my store says they have 10 but no one can find one. At the same time I needed 2 other items. 1 claimed they have 67, other 24, JOKE! They just want you to buy something more expensive is my guess.
The app on my iPhone shows an aisle location for the home store. Can” say whether it is correct or not but worth a try.
they have them where levels and pry bars are.I had the same problem at our local. No one heard of them but after ordering online from maker for35.00 for 2 I found them for 12.00 on the shelf
Yes but you can just use a piece of rubber or plastic for that
No it is not designed for that use, it is designed to lift heavy objects off the floor a few inches.
Nailer it could be used for that if you could fit it under a solid object you wanted to lift or remove.. keep in mind you dont want to use it in a way that it will get punctured. all in all it is a great tool that i keep finding new uses for. a great addition to my tools
No it’s probably not strong enough first when I had ended up breaking it I’m not real happy with the product
yes
