Please explain what the "non slip backing" is made of. I want to avoid rubber/ latex because it can discolor wood floors.
The product information specifies that the rug has a "Jute backing". It also advises using a non-slip rug pad (not included) is recommended to prevent slippage. There is no mention of rubber or latex in the product description.
Does this rug require a rug pad? I'm asking for the larger sizes, not the smaller ones that may skid.

WON'T LAY FLAT and so WINKLE !? I bought 2 of the runner rug but both of rugs won't lay flat and Winkle, it's been almost month. I tried rolled opposite size and put heavy Stuff on size conner but still what should I do with that? Should I buy pad?

Below you will find all the tips that we have seen flatten our products out: You can reverse roll the rug and let it sit for 24 hours before laying it flat on the floor. Curled or folded edges can be gently worked out by bending them in the opposite direction and then weighing them down with a heavy book or object. To flatten stubborn edges, use rug grippers or anti-slip tape to adhere the rug to the floor. You may also pull gently on the edges to help smooth out any creases.
WHY WONT THIS RUGE LAY FLAT??? It?s been almost a week and because it was folded like a piece of paper when we picked up, it will not lay flat! Very heavy furniture is weighing it down.
