Thank you. There is no difference between those models. They just have different model numbers.
Thank you. On page 5 / Section 4 of the installation instructions, it shows how you can install the stopper so that you can pull it out from the top for easier cleaning.
It has been awhile since I installed the faucet so I don't remember exactly what was in the box. However, the installation manual available through Home Depot does have a listing (https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/4a/4a5295c1-ec83-4a7e-abd1-c50501531e5f.pdf).
Thank you. This comes with the faucet and the drain assembly.
I didn’t notice any gaps in either of my installs. I did not use putty on the faucet and haven’t noticed anything dripping. However these are both installed in adult use bathrooms so there’s probably no water getting splashed around there to leak. The only place I used putty was on the drain valves.
Hi Kaz, I would say definitely use a little plumbers putty if there's a small gap. The black gasket-like thing most definitely will help also, but to be on the safe side, I would definitely use a small amount of putty just for added protection. Thank you for the question. I hope this was helpful. Have a great day.
There is no need to putt plumbers putty.
I didn’t use plumber’s putty because of the black gasket. All has been fine and it has been a few years.
I didn't use plumbers putty. The rubber piece holds it securely in place. I did use Flex Seal around the joints to prevent any tiny leaks just in case. Facet works great and was easy to install.
Please see the attached pictures. Every single handle faucet (kitchen or bath) has an access hole underneath the handle. The first picture is the handle as it come from the store with the red/blue (hot/cold) little indicator under the handle. Gently pry that plastic piece out of the hole. I did it with my fingers and finger nails. When you remove that you will see the head of a bolt inside. Tighten it or loosen it with a allen wrench depending on what you need. When you are done gently replace the red/blue plastic piece into the hole. You should be good then.
Sorry I don't have a pic but the blue/red button you see on the bottom of handle, you move that with a two face screwdriver. The nut is inside about an inch back. You will need one of those 6 face screwdriver, Not 4 face to tighten the nut. But Please make sure you turn the water off from under the sink. The hot/cold knobs are under the sink. Turn them off first. Then make sure you try to keep the handle facing you and not up. You can see the screw by flashing the light in the hole. It is not difficult to tight the nut. I hope this helps. And please make sure once you have tighten the nut to turn the water back on under the sink by turning the knobs to on position.
Hi Amy, I'll be glad to help answer your question. First you'll need to close the sink drain. I have attached pictures to show you how to tighten the handle. There's a small button like thing underneath the faucet. Mine is blue and red in color. Remove it and you will need a hex key or allen wrench to tighten the screw. Then replace the small button piece. It is difficult to get to it when it's already installed, but I think it will be easier than removing the faucet to do this. I hope this helps you. Thank you for the question.
I’m willing to bet if you took a straight screwdriver and popped off the blue and red rubber thingy on the handle that there’s a screw under there.
Pop off the blue & red plastic button and you will find an allen head screw.
Depot is going to require you to bring the whole thing back but the will be happy to do that for you. But to avoid uninstalling I would try 2 things: the quick connect has a cap for shipping, be sure it is removed before inserting and push in until it snaps in place. Second, oil the o ring and insert and remove 2 times. Preferably silicone but cooking oil will work.
Thank you. These models come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty so we suggest that you contact the Customer Care Department at 1-877-527-0313 and they can troubleshoot the issues as well as get you out any parts that might be needed, free of charge.
Oh yeah, you have the loose handle. You have to find the tiny plastic plug under the lever. Mine is red and blue. Oh, close the drain because most likely it will fall. Then find a small hex driver (allen wrench) that you can find that will fit and tighten it clockwise. A small jeweler's cross head screwdriver will work too but either one it's not easy to find the screw. If you can get the handle completely off you can get easy access to help determine the correct size of the hex screw and possibly drop a bit of thread sealant and get to it quickly. Third time to tighten mine at this writing.
Where the little Glacier Bay symbol is on the front of the Faucet, that pops out and gives you access to a Allen Screw.
Under the red and blue temperature indicator, on the front side of the handle, there is a set screw that needs to be tightened with an Allen Key.
Thank you. There is a small set screw under the temperature indicator button that will tighten the handle.
My handle loosened twice in the last 6 months. I used a 1/8" allen wrench to tighten the set screw which is accessed through the hole which is plugged by the red/blue plastic plug. The plug pries out with your finger nail or a sharp knife. I used a drop of crazy glue on the threads of the set screw this last time to prevent the screw from loosening again.
There is no way to do it, I had to replace the whole thing with a better one.
There is a set screw under the handle.
Yes it can. I actually put another one on the one I have.
The aerator is removable, so it could be replaced if you have the parts. But typically all you need to do is clean out debris and replace the original part.
That’s not the one I bought I got delta Zella and the answer is yes Jeanette
Yes, the aerator can be replaced.
