I Mesa Arizona area and my yard is mostly Caliche (calcium carbonate). Other than using a metal till rake to loosen the soil, do I need to add any soil mixture or manure either in the soil or over the top of Scott's mulch/bermuda seed?

However, long-term success depends on a few things: soil pH, sunlight, and soil composition. Turf grasses don't love straight sand, but the varieties in our EZ Seed products should do just fine in sandy soil that's mixed with loam and clay.
