Hello and thanks for your question. The best time to plant Bermudagrass seed is in late Spring or early Summer. The air temperatures should be consistently in the 80s. To get the best results from Scotts EZSeed Bermuda, water until the area appears dark brown and no longer expanding. When more water is needed, the product will turn light brown. (Note: There are very few exceptions to this rule, and they rarely come up).
Hey there! Thanks for asking. Scotts Turf Builder Thick'r Lawn Bermudagrass & Scotts Turf Builder Thick'r Lawn Southern Gold are going to function very similar in the sense they are both combination seed, fertilizer, and soil improvers. The main difference will come down to your preference between grass types: Tall Fescue or Bermuda. If you would like to discuss the different attributes between these grass types, we would be happy to chat! At your earliest convenience, please give our Consumer Services Team a call at 877-220-3089.
If youre in texas the fescue probably would not last the summer bermuda will
Grass may grow over a foot tall when left unmowed. For best mowing practices keep mower blades sharp for the cleanest cut. Dull blades tear grass, causing a grayish-brown color.

Hello! Thanks for your question. Scotts Turf Builder THICK'R Lawn Grass Seed, Fertilizer, and Soil Improver for Bermudagrass contains unhulled Savannah II Bermudagrass seed.
Hello! Thanks for your question. The grass seed in Scotts EZ Seed Patch & Repair Bermudagrass is Unhulled Transcontinental Bermudagrass.
Warm season grasses, which includes Bermuda, should be seeded in late spring or early summer after the danger of frost has past and ground temperatures are consistently 70ºF (21ºC) or above. Grass can be seeded during the summer, but it requires more careful watering.
Thank you for your question! Scotts Ez Seed Patch & Repair Bermudagrass is pretty adaptable and will get started in just about any soil or location. However, long-term success depends on a few things: soil pH, sunlight, and soil composition. Turf grasses don't love straight sand, but the varieties in our EZ Seed products should do just fine in sandy soil that's mixed with loam and clay.
