How to clean filter
Hi, Filter! To clean the air filter of your Frigidaire FFAP5034W1 dehumidifier, first locate the filter, usually at the rear of the unit. Open the back grille to access it. Detach the filter by pressing the tabs as shown in the manual. Wash the filter with clean water and allow it to dry completely before reinstalling. If the "Clean Filter" indicator is illuminated, you may need to reset it by pressing the filter button on the display. - Patrick
I want to use the pump outlet on my 50 pint model. I want to run along the floor to my sump crock. So the tubing will not have an incline all the way to the crock. So is there a maximum distance I can run tubing with no real incline?
After a power outage, is the PUMP=ON setting restored if applied? (unplug it and find out). I assume the DEFAULT settings are restored which is PUMP=OFF. That does not suit unattended operation in PUMP mode, a real problem if you are not home.

Hi there, our valued customer! It is recommended that a Dehumidifier Drain Hose - 1/2" (12.7 mm) or larger be used. Make sure there are no kinks or elevations in the hose. -Chris

What is the height this unit can pump out the water in the bucket? I want to be sure my window is not too high for the discharge pump to work properly in draining the unit Thanks

Hi John! When the water tank is full of water, the pump will start to pump water. automatically. The pump will stop. automatically after the water tank has been empty. -Christian
