3M Aluminum Oxide Sandpaper 9005-9A, 9 in. x 11 in., Assorted grit, Open Stock. 3M sandpaper comes in a variety of minerals and a wide grit range. This medium-grit aluminum oxide sandpaper is a general purpose abrasive that can be used on painted surfaces, bare wood, and metal.
- Also available in flexible sanding sponges for flat and contoured surfaces like raised panel doors, cabinets or windows
- Choose a block sanding sponge or for hard to reach areas, like corners; try one of the angle sanding sponges
- Be sure to sand with the grain of the wood
- Always work through a sequence of grits, from coarse to very fine

3M sandpaper performs as advertised
I used this sandpaper for metal, and did just what I wanted it too. I got the high shine I was trying to accomplish on copper.
