A:  Yes but not good enough to paint. IF carpet is dirty tape will not stick very well. I would sayno

A:  No. You would need to put down white painter's tape onto the carpet. Then stick the blue tape. Blue tape isn't very sticky and is designed for smooth wall surfaces

A:  Sort of, it depends on your carpet. This isn't the best product for your application; you'd be better served by using a 24" paint shield (available at HD under their "Husky" brand.)

A:  Its paper masking/painter's tape, so it would depend on how rough and how clean the surface is. Wouldn't stick to my rough stucco, but the window sills which are smoother it did.

A:  the blue tape from 3M isnt super sticky. you may need to put down a first layers of white tape. then put the sheets over that to get it to stick properly and seal

A:  "Express Delivery from Store" is now provided in many areas. They'll put it on a store at the store and bring the products to your home. Check again now and see if that's an option (it will be a checkbox under "Pick Up In Store."

                          Not for edges
Left several drip marks on edges it was meant to protect. The tape itself was really thin.

                            Painters insurance
I’m finishing up a living room project and painted the freshly installed shiplap first. Then decided we wanted to paint the ceiling. I decided to tape the edge line first then come back with the scotch painters plastic with tape to protect the whole wall. For the under $8 spend it’s worth a ton more in splatter insurance. It goes on quick just tape the paint line separately for best results. Go and pick up a roll or two and save your self tons of time cleaning up your messes. Believe me I’ve learned my lesson. A+ 3m Scotch product.

First things first. Just like a grenade, pull the pin and chuck it. Unless you have two people it is darn near impossible to use the blue part. It constantly wanted to fold up and unwind. It also doesn't get it close enough to the wall. I used scissors to cut off what I needed. Secondly keep your finger on the tape that you stuck to the wall and only unwind one foot at a time. Then you can use your thumbs with the tape at a 45 degree angle to the corner of the wall to get it right where you want it. Don't get frustrated if the plastic gets under the tape. Keep moving on until you're all the way across the wall. Once it is fully stuck to the wall it is easy to get the plastic back off the tape when you stretch the plastic out. It clings to the wall very nice without the use of extra tape. I sprayed my walls oh, so after a few coats the plastic starts to get heavy oh, so I did add extra painters tape on the corner and in the middle of the plastic. It seems costly but by the time you attach tape yourself to plastic you wasted a lot of time and money. This is the way to go. If you're spraying a wall, when taping the ceiling, extend the taped plastic a foot past the wall. Otherwise you will get overspray on the ceiling.

ScotchBlue Pre-Taped Painter's Plastic Loaded Dispenser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received a sample product from company to try out and man was I ever happy happy happy. Needed to paint the bathroom after we took off the 1970's wall paper. Worked great and didn't leave any marks on wall or fixtures that I didn't feel like removing. High quality product from a great company. If you ever need to paint don't use the competition as they will leave you disappointed. Plastic dispenser worked great and never left me hanging for a peace of tape.

This makes the masking go faster. I love it. The plastic does tear easily. If you are using a sprayer and there’s any compromise in the plastic, the air pressure will rip it. Lesson learned.

                                Good, could be great.
I love the IDEA of this. The tape needs to be bigger so it can actually attach to things. Comes off easily. We taped on top of the tape to be able to get it to stick to the baseboards. I will get it again, but it could be improved.

                                Great for General Use.
I recently used this product to paint interior and exterior of a house. It was great to use with a sprayer and make it easy to cover the soffits to paint the walls of the house. When i used it on the inside i used it to take off the bottom of the baseboards on the LVP Floor to use a s as drop cloth/to paint the bottom of the base boards. I would be careful of what you put the tape on, and sometimes when dispensing the plastic will get caught under the blue tape.
